    Our Farm is a 97 acre therapeutic farm on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC! We are part of a residential community, where adults with developmental disabilities live, work and learn together with their caregivers. We grow a broad range of vegetables for our own use and an extensive range of herbs, for cooking and products to sell. We have cattle, sheep and a small flock of chickens.

    Winter is more quiet on the land and the chores slows down. We turn to maintenance and construction during that time. Handy helpers are welcome!

    As a licensed care facility, we adhere to all covid regulations.

    The lodging will be:
    Summer 2022, we have no space in the houses so lodging will be tenting on the property, or space can be provided for your own camper/van. Shared kitchen, outhouse or indoor bathroom/shower.

    *️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️It is often possible to catch a ride to Duncan for bus connections to island spots, or sometimes to go along with others on outings.

    *️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️There are a handful of young volunteers here already, mostly from Europe.

    *5 minute bike ride to the nearest swimming hole
