  Description

  Hi.
  We are Erica and Kiki, we live in our countryside along the Manghisi river.
  We have been taking care of this place for several years, growing local vegetation, planting fruit trees and experimenting with elementary cultivation in the garden.
  Two dogs, a number of cats and a dozen hens live with us, not to mention the countless wild animals that inhabit these places.
  When we bathe in the river, we may come across a moorhen or some (harmless) snakes.
  For some time now, we have set up a platform for activities, in which a circus propaedeutics workshop is currently running, but which will also be used for concerts and other initiatives.
  At the moment we are busy cleaning the grounds, completing the house furnishings and the vegetable garden, and in the hottest hours we cool off at the river.

  Siamo Erica e Kiki, viviamo nella nostra campagna lungo il fiume Manghisi.
  Da diversi anni ci occupiamo di questo luogo, dando spazio alla crescita della vegetazione locale, piantando alberi da frutta e sperimentando nell'orto la coltivazione elementare.
  Vivono con noi 2 cani, una serie di gatti e una decina di galline, senza considerare gli innumerevoli animali selvatici che abitano questi luoghi.
  Quando facciamo il bagno nel fiume può capitare di incontrare la gallinella d'acqua o qualche serpente ( innocuo).
  Da qualche tempo abbiamo sistemato una pedana per le attività, in cui in questo momento e attivo un laboratorio di propedeutica al circo, ma che sarà utilizzato anche per concerti ed altre iniziative.
  In questo periodo ci stiamo dedicando alle pulizie del terreno, al completamento dell'arredamento della casa e all'Orto, nelle ore più calde ci rinfreschiamo al fiume.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  The countryside offers a lot of experiences, depending on the time of year there are various jobs that can be done from which we can learn a lot, also having a great biodiversity I can teach you how to recognise some wild edible plants.
  I have followed circus studies, I like to dedicate myself to these activities and to teaching.
  Part of the structures here are built by us, we do carpentry work, like the furniture in the house at the moment.
  We can do a language and cultural exchange

  La campagna offre tante esperienze, in base al periodo ci sono vari lavori che si possono fare da cui possiamo imparare molto, inoltre avendo una grande biodiversitá posso insegnarti a riconoscere alcune piante selvatiche commestibili.
  Ho seguito degli studi circensi , mi piace dedicarmi a queste attivitá e all´insegnamento.
  Parte delle strutture presenti, sono state costruite da noi, ci dedichiamo alle lavorazioni di falegnameria, come in questo momento i mobili di casa.

  We have a place available in a caravan with an attached kitchen, and if necessary we will set up a tent with comfortable mattresses.
  The place is provided with water and electricity.
  
  Abbiamo a disposizione un posto in roulotte con cucina annessa, e nell'eventualità monteremo una tenda con comodi materassi.
  Il luogo è provvisto di acqua ed energia elettrica.

  we are 1 hour from Catania (nearest airport)
