  Speaking spanish is a must, medium level or more, as many of our guests are Colombian.
  
  There are lots of things to help out with - reception & administration, cleaning the rooms, making beds, socializing with the guests. If you think you can help, please get in touch!

  Hablar español es imprescindible, de nivel medio o más, ya que muchos de nuestros huéspedes son colombianos.

All come with comfortable mattresses, pillows, towels and all the linens , internet and free coffee all day, bikes, as well as excellent information on places to visit in our city, breakfast and 1 laundry each week

  Valledupar is the capital of the department Cesar. It`s located in the mountains of the “Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta”, along the Guatapurí river. It`s known internationally as the Capital of the Vallenato. People born in this area are know as Vallenatos; “born in the valley”.
  
  There are several activities you can do in Valledupar such his relationship with the indigenous people (Arhuacos, Koguis, Wiwas, Kankuamos), view the interesting traditions, culture and their secluded town of Nabusimake. Enjoy traditional and Spanish colonial architecture; swim and dive in the cool, clean Guatapurí and Badillo rivers; bird watch and hike in the verdant Los Besotes ecopark. For indigenous crafts visit the nearby historic village of La Mina and much more...
  Valledupar is considered as one of the “greenest” cities in the country, sometimes called the “forest city”. You will find trees in front and backyards of most houses, almost as an obligation. Also important is the presence of fruital trees in public areas such as parks, sidewalks and boulevards. The most common fruital trees are mango, cañahuate, robles, mamones, cardamomos and cauchos.

  VALLEDUPAR Es la capital del departamento del Cesar. Está ubicada en las montes de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, a la margen del río Guatapurí. Conocida como la Capital Mundial del Vallenato. A los nacidos en esta zona se les denomina Vallenatos: nacidos en el valle. Es una ciudad joven y llena de energía. Una tierra de magia, ensoñación, trabajo y canto.
  Hay diferentes actividades en Valledupar y sus alrededores como visitar NABUSIMAKE (la Capital de la nación Arhuaca y capital espiritual de la cultura indígena). Disfrutar y recorrer el centro histórico y la arquitectura tradicional.
