We are a non-profit charity run campsite, in rural Sussex at the foot of the South Downs, just a few miles from Brighton and its beaches. Our Charity focuses on the welfare and development of disabled people.
We require volunteers who are willing to help with general maintenance (including cutting grass with ride on mower, petrol mower and tractor; painting; planting) and cleaning (particularly shower block), as well as welcoming guests to our campsite and showing them to their pitches. Help will be required 5 days a week including weekends.
We are soon entering our busy season, which will provide ample opportunity to practice your English language skills and interact with the many campers staying here
This may be partially offset by the food and accommodation offered depending on local labour laws.
We offer foreign students, with energy and enthusiasm, a unique opportunity to develop their English Language skills through communication with a diverse range of people in a family environment. Would be ideal for students with an interest in tourism, agriculture and horticulture.
Large tent with electricity, cooking facilities and a food allowance.
We are based in a popular area of outstanding natural beauty in rural Sussex, with easy transport links to Brighton and London. The South Downs offers the opportunity to enjoy walking, cycling, hang gliding, horse riding and much more. Nearby, the cosmopolitan City of Brighton offers sea beaches for swimming and boating, as well restaurants and bars, shopping; simply something to suit everyone's taste.
Maximum 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week
