  Description

  Our family consists of two adults (Sara and Stefano) and two children (Ernesto aged 13 and Aurora d 5). We currently have two cats (we would like to get a dog too soon). We live in a small village in the lower Val di Susa. We moved here for two years, after living in the city center of Turin, out of the desire to get closer to nature. We have a detached house at the foot of Mount Musiné, with a beautiful view over the valley. We are a little higher than the town center, which can be reached on foot in 15 minutes (the road from the town to the house is definitely uphill). Our house is adjacent to the woods and from our house you can easily reach many beautiful trails in the middle of nature. Almese is a small town but also very lively on a cultural level. Our desire is to be able to have help especially for the periods when Stefano (the father) is busy at work. Sara (the mother) works three days a week in Turin and would dream of starting more local work activities on the other days. The help we would need would be partly with the children, so that there is someone at home and maybe (where logistics allows) who can also pick them up from school when needed, but above all it can be an opportunity for interaction and exchange with them (with each of them differently, given the age difference). In part it would be useful to us with the garden, the vegetable garden and with the animals (at the moment we have two cats, but we dream of soon having a dog so we would really need help not to leave it alone too long at home). And there would also be some help with keeping the house tidy and preparing meals. We like the idea of sharing the knowledge of a young person all together and enriching his and our path in some way. Respect for nature is fundamental for our family. We like to take care of a diet that is as natural as possible. And we like our kids to be outdoors as much as possible (and we too). In the we, when we are free, we enjoy gardening or trips around the area.
  
  La nostra famiglia è composta di due adulti (Sara e Stefano) e due figli (Ernesto di 13 anni ed Aurora d 5). Al momento abbiamo due gatti (ci piacerebbe presto prendere anche un cane). Viviamo un paesino della bassa Val di Susa. CI siamo trasferiti qui da due anni, dopo aver vissuto in centro città a Torino, per il desiderio di avvicinarci alla natura. Abbiamo una casa indipendente ai piedi del monte Musiné, con una bella vista sulla valle. SIamo un poco più in alto del centro del paese, che si raggiunge a piedi in 15 minuti (la strada però dal paese a casa è decisamente in salita). Casa nostra è adiacente al bosco e da casa nostra si raggiungono facilmente molti sentieri bellissimi in mezzo alla natura. Almese è un paese piccolo ma molto vivace anche sul piano culturale.
  Il nostro desiderio è poter avere un aiuto soprattutto per i periodi in cui Stefano (il papà) è impegnato nel lavoro. Sara (la mamma) lavora tre giorni a settimana a Torino e sognerebbe di avviare delle attività lavorative più locali negli altri giorni. L'aiuto che ci servirebbe sarebbe in parte con i figli, perché ci sia qualcuno in casa e magari (laddove la logistica lo consenta) che possa anche andarli a prendere a scuola quando serve, ma soprattutto possa essere occasione di una interazione e scambio con loro (con ciascuno di loro in modo diverso, data la differenza di età). In parte ci sarebbe utile con il giardino, l'orto e con gli animali (al momento abbiamo due gatti, ma sogniamo di avere presto un cane per cui avremmo proprio bisogno di aiuto per non lasciarlo solo troppo tempo in casa). E ci sarebbe anche un po' di aiuto per tenere in ordine la casa e preparare i pasti. CI piace l'idea di condividere tutti insieme la conoscenza di un giovane e di arricchire in qualche odo il suo e il nostro percorso.
  Di base per la nostra famiglia è importante il rispetto della natura. Ci piace curare un alimentazione il più possibile naturali. E ci piace che i nostri figli possano stare il più possibile all'aperto (e anche noi). Nei we, quando siamo liberi, ci piace fare giardinaggio o gite nella zona.

  Of course we open our home and our hearts, so it will be possible to try to taste a specific way of life of a family. For those who are foreigners we gladly teach Italian in the daily exchange, For those who love nature we offer a good location for walks and explorations independently, as well as being able to share curiosity. For those who want to explore the area we offer a good base and also the possibility of taking trips together because we too are learning a lot about these places. The lower Val di Suasa is a very special place also on the level of spiritual research: Sara can give many indications to those interested in experiences of meditation, shamanism, sacred geography etc. Just as very strong in the Val di Susa is a certain type of political militancy from below (starting with the NO TAV movement) with respect to which there can be many opportunities for deepening and participation.
  
  Naturalmente noi apriamo la nostra casa e i nostri cuori, per cui sarà possibile provare ad assaggiare un modo di vivere specifico di una famiglia. A chi è straniero volentieri insegniamo l'italiano nello scambio quotidiano, A chi ama la natura offriamo una buona posizione per passeggiate ed esplorazioni in autonomia, oltre a poter condividere la curiosià. A chi vuole esplorare la zona offriamo una buona base e anche la possibilità di fare insieme delle gite perché anche noi stiamo imparando molto su questi luoghi. La bassa Val di Suasa è un luogo molto speciale anche sul piano della ricerca spirituale: Sara può dare molte indicazioni a chi fosse interessato a esperienze di meditazione, di sciamanesimo, di geografia sacra etc. Così come molto forte nella Val di Susa è un certo tipo di militanza politica dal Basso (a partire dal movimento NO TAV) rispetto a cui ci possono essere molte occasioni di approfondimento e partecipazione.

  Help

  We imagine help especially with children in times when we parents can be busy (at home or away). This can be partly fixed on certain days of the week, partly to be defined from week to week (sometimes even in we). Help is required to prepare meals or keep the house tidy. No specific skills are needed in this sense, we can learn together. Even on gardening or the vegetable garden what is most useful is motivation. In general, beyond the fact that each work-away will have its specific skills, we are above all interested in the intention to open up to an experience that we will have to build together in mutual respect. As times in the week for children we may generally need more in the afternoon and sometimes maybe in the evening. In the we may need at some time to be defined from time to time.
  
  Immaginiamo un aiuto soprattutto con i figli nei momenti in cui noi genitori possiamo essere impegnati (a casa o fuori). Questo può essere in parte fisso in alcuni giorni della settimana, in parte da definire di settimana in settimana (qualche volta anche nei we).
  Viene richiesto un aiuto per preparare i pasti o tenere in ordine la casa. Non è necessaria in questo senso alcuna competenza specifica, possiamo imparare insieme.
  Anche sul giardinaggio o l'orto ciò che è più utile è la motivazione.
  In generale, al di là che ogni work-away avrà le sue competenze specifiche, ci interessa soprattutto l'intenzione di aprirsi a un'esperienza che avremo da costruire insieme nel rispetto reciproco.
  Come orari in settimana per i bambini potremmo aver in genere più bisogno nel pomeriggio e qualche volte magari la sera. Nei we potremmo aver bisogno in qualche momento da definire di volta in volta.

  Ci piacerebbe soprattutto per i nostri figli poter avere occasione di imparare meglio l'inglese, A nostro figlio più grande potrebbe piacere migliorare il francese (che ha studiato a scuola) e avere qualche rudimento di giapponese (una cultura che lo affascina molto). Comunque in generale di ogni lingua ci può interessare avere qualche rudimento. La piccola Aurora soprattutto è molto recettiva. Allo stesso tempo non è indispensabile per noi lo scambio linguistico, accogliamo volentieri anche volontari o volontarie itatliani/e

  Accommodation

  At the moment we provide a room on the ground floor with a nearby bathroom (the bathroom is not for exclusive use, but we have another one near the bedrooms). In perspective we would like to rearrange the attic which would offer an even larger reserved space.
  
  Al momento mettiamo a disposizione una stanza al piano terra con bagno vicino (il bagno non ad uso esclusivo, ma noi ne abbiamo un altro vicino alle camere da letto). In prospettiva vorremmo risistemare la mansarda che offrirebbe uno spazio riservato ancora più ampio.

  In your free time for the or work-away you can take walks in the woods (even starting on foot from home), join a gym or swimming pool, attend the town's film theater, go to the library in Almese, go to Avigliana many services and clubs, possibly contact the scout group of the country, visit the Val di Susa area, visit Turin (where there are very interesting museums such as the Cinema or the Egyptian one ...) For transport you need to go to the center of the Country to be able to take buses to Turin or to neighboring countries or to reach the railway station.
  
  Nel tempo libero per il o la work-away è possibile fare passeggiate nei boschi (partendo anche a piedi da casa), iscriversi a una palestra o piscina, frequentare il cineteatro del paese, andare in biblioteca ad Almese, recarsi ad Avigliana dove ci sono molti servizi e locali, eventualmente prendere contatto con il gruppo scout del paese, visitare la zona della Val di Susa, visitare Torino (dove ci sono musei interessantissimi come quello del Cinema o quello egizio...)
  Per i trasporti bisogna recarsi al centro del Paese per poter prendere pullman che portano a Torino o nei paesi vicini o per raggiunger ela stazione ferroviaria.
