  Description

  We are Resilience. A Inn Located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, in a small resort called El Tesoro (Barra de Maldonado) 10 km from Punta del Este.
  Our project with the volunteer is developed basically framed in activities of bio construction, education and tourist services of experiences and accommodation. All with a view always from sustainability and a loving relationship with nature, the landscape that contains us and with whom we cohabit it.

  Nuestro proyecto con el voluntar@ se desarrolla básicamente enmarcado en actividades de bio construcción, educación y servicios turísticos de experiencias y alojamiento. Todo con una mirada siempre desde la sustentabilidad y un relacionamiento amoroso con la naturaleza, el paisaje que nos contiene y con quienes lo cohabitamos

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  In addition to receiving direct knowledge of the use of materials and technologies that are taught in the courses, our site receives visitors and tourists who provide another dimension more than interesting from the point of view of the exchange and artistic, cultural and / or commercial production of small scale; Therefore, if you think you have something to teach, share or offer related to our subject do not hesitate to let us know; and thus jointly evaluate the possibility of incorporating it into our proposal (muralism, photography, handicrafts or the production of products or objects that generate small savings are of particular interest).

  Además de recibir el conocimiento directo del uso de los materiales y las tecnologías que se imparten en los cursos, nuestro sitio recibe visitantes y turistas que aportan otra dimensión mas que interesante desde el punto de vista del intercambio y producción artístico, cultural y/o comercial de pequeña escala; por ello si piensas que tienes algo para enseñar, compartir u ofrecer relacionado a nuestra temática no dudes en hacérnoslo saber; y así evaluar de manera conjunta la posibilidad de incorporarlo a nuestra propuesta (son de interés particular el muralismo, la fotografía, la artesanía o la elaboración de productos u objetos que generen pequeñas economías) .

  Help

  The proposal aims to share and transfer the knowledge of these technologies, mainly oriented to the design and construction of the habitat, through "Workshops" with the local population, visitors, tourists or other volunteers who may be housed in our facilities. The tasks will mainly go through the production and preparation of these workshops, working on the work itself. These works, which in general will be destined for the tourist lodge in summer season or for collaborators during workshops, will be fundamentally constructed with natural materials and will allow each volunteer to learn in a practical way, the use of some of them. Eventually the knowledge can be complemented with theoretical courses that are taught outside the facilities and the schedule established for the volunteer task.
  
  Possible tasks to develop: Prepare the mud mixture in a tread / project material on the framework of reeds of the walls / collaborate in the distribution of material for the construction of a living ceiling / Work with wood / Plant plants in the garden water treatments / maintain and harvest in the garden / Shop or cook food.

  La propuesta apunta a compartir y transferir el conocimiento de estas tecnologías, fundamentalmente orientadas al diseño y la construcción del hábitat, a través de “talleres de Obra” con la población local, visitantes, turistas u otros voluntarios que puedan estar albergados en nuestras instalaciones. Las tareas pasaran fundamentalmente por la producción y preparación de estos talleres, trabajando en la obra propiamente dicho. Estas obras que en general estarán destinadas a el albergue de turistas en temporada de verano o de los colaboradores en épocas de talleres, estarán fundamentalmente construidas con materiales naturales y permitirán que cada voluntario aprenda de forma practica, el uso de algunas de ellas. Eventualmente el conocimiento podrá ser complementado con cursos teóricos que se dictan fuera de las instalaciones y del horario establecido para la tarea de voluntariado.
  Tareas posibles a desarrollar: Preparar la mezcla de barro en un pisadero / proyectar material sobre el entramado de cañas de las paredes / colaborar en la distribución de material para la construcción de un techo vivo / Trabajar con la madera / Sembrar plantas en el jardin de tratamientos de aguas / mantener y cosechar en la huerta / Hacer compras o cocinar alimentos.
