  Description

  My hostel is a family-run hostel located one in Bishkek, and the second one in Cholpon Ata, and one opening soon in Osh, Kyrgyzstan. Here we try to create a homie atmosphere by engaging guests in different activities, provide them with travel tips, and so on.
  
  Currently I need 1 volunteer at the hostel in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Here we have dorm rooms, double and single rooms so we can accomodate everyone, young and old. However, the majority of our guests are backpackers between 20 to 30 years old who mainly come for trekking/hiking/horseriding. At the hostel our goal is to make their stay memorable by creating games, events and introducing them to a local culture through storytelling/musical perfomances. In addition, we also operate as a budget travel agency by organizing tours across the country. Our most popular tours are 3 day horseriding to the Alpine lakes in Kyrgyzstan. Also we organize day trips to nearby hiking spots such as Ala Archa national park/Issyk Ata/Alamedin/Koltor and Belogorka waterfall. Since I work as a guide myself and often travel across the country I'm happy to share any information/contacts on travelling in the country as well as in Kazakhstan/Uzbekistan/Tajikistan. The hostel work here is also seasonal between May until October, but unlike the hostel in Cholpon Ata we are open year around. It's just from October until May it is a slow season.
  
  Cholpon Ata is a small city where you can go for hiking/hot springs/lakes. The hostel is located 10 min from the beach. In Cholpon Ata we would need 2 volunteers who would help to promote the hostel through social media/organizing and planning activities/customer service but only during the season which is May until October. Other times the hostel is closed. The minimum period for volunteering is two weeks. If you can commit for 3 months or more we have some manager positions available with a monthly allowance.
