Description
I am Lama Wangjor, responsible for a Buddhist Center in the middle of nature to be able to do retreats.
I started this adventure in 2005 and currently we have various facilities on a wonderful plot of land and we are building a straw and mud house (see photo) that will serve as a dining room and kitchen to supply all the people staying at the Center. This land is located in the municipality of Monroyo in the Matarraña region (Teruel - Spain)
We offer a stay with work in the middle of nature, between mountains and rivers of crystalline water, and towns such as Valderrobres or Alcañiz at 13 km and 30 km respectively.
We are also planning the expansion and execution of one of the retirement homes, which will serve to accommodate retirees. In addition, building a warehouse, new dry toilets and showers, clearing, fixing paths ... in short, the multiple tasks that are given by living in the middle of nature as in the past, but with electricity, running water, kitchen, refrigerator, drinking water, natural light and solar energy. To sleep we have space to install you in one of the wooden huts that we have available.
At this time we need people with knowledge of masonry, plumbing, electricity or gardening if possible, to carry out the expansion of one of the retirement homes.

Soy Lama Wangjor, responsable de un Centro Budista en plena naturaleza para poder hacer retiros.
Esta aventura la inicié en 2005 y en la actualidad disponemos de diversas dependencias en un maravilloso terreno y estamos construyendo una casa de paja y barro (ver fotografía) que servirá como comedor y cocina para abastecer todas las personas hospedadas en el Centro. Este terreno está ubicado en el término municipal de Monroyo en la comarca del Matarraña (Teruel - España)
Ofrecemos una estancia con trabajo en plena naturaleza, entre montañas y ríos de agua cristalina, y poblaciones como Valderrobres o Alcañiz a 13Km y 30 Km respectivamente.
También planeamos la ampliación y ejecución de una de las casas de retiro, que servirá para alojar a los retirantes. Además, construir un almacén, nuevos baños secos y duchas, desbrozar, arreglar caminos... en definitiva, las múltiples tareas que se dan por el hecho de vivir en plena naturaleza como antaño, pero con electricidad, agua corriente, cocina, nevera, agua potable, luz natural y energía solar. Para dormir tenemos espacio para instalarte en una de las casetas de madera que tenemos disponibles.
En este momento necesitamos a personas con conocimientos de albañilería, fontanería , electricidad o jardinería si es posible, para realizar la ampliación de una de las casas de retiro.

We can offer you:
Accommodation in small cabins or tent, meals, possibility of attending the workshops that are held, Meditation every day, different teachings on Buddhist Philosophy.
We will go on an excursion to see the best places in the region, known as "Aragonese Tuscany" with beautiful towns, rivers, etc.
The idea is to live in a quiet and respectful environment in contact with nature.
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed and it is not allowed to smoke inside the entire enclosure. For smokers it is possible outside the enclosure.
Podemos ofreceros:
Alojamiento en cabañas pequeñas o tienda de campaña, comidas, posibilidad de asistencia a los talleres que se realicen, Meditación todos los días, diferentes enseñanzas sobre Filosofía Budista.
Haremos alguna excursión para conocer los mejores lugares de la comarca, conocida como la "Toscana Aragonesa" con preciosos pueblos, ríos, etc.
La idea es convivir en un ambiente tranquilo y respetuoso en contacto con la naturaleza.
Las bebidas alcohólicas no son permitidas ni tampoco se puede fumar dentro de todo el recinto. Para los fumadores es posible fuera del recinto.

Volunteering time is throughout the year, except August and sometimes some winter months depending on the weather. Stays of at least one month are desirable.
Nuestro trabajo consistirá en:
-Mantenimiento en general
-Ayudar en casa.
-Ayudas con computadoras.
-Crear,cocinar comidas familiares.
-Bricolaje.
-Jardineria.
- Trabajos de albañilería.
- Tareas de campo, hacer senderos, cortar leña, desbrozar etc.
- Otras tareas relacionadas.
El tiempo de voluntariado es durante todo el año, excepto agosto y en ocasiones algunos meses de invierno en función de la climatología, siendo deseables estancias superiores a un mes.

Accommodation

El centro cuenta con unos recursos económicos muy limitados, cualquier aportación que el cooperante pueda realizar para su mantenimiento será enormemente agradecida.
