    Description

We’re a family of three: Jan, Anne and our 4 year old daughter Fleur. We live in Belgium near Ghent and Brussels. We are self sustaining with our ecological/biological garden which we fertilize with manure from our horses. Water and electricity not yet though, future project! :).
Basically our project is to be self sustaining :).

We have moved during the covid pandemic and are starting a new garden and are renovating the house aswell. Loads of projects!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are close to Ghent and Brussels and other Flemish towns. The countryside is pretty and quiet. You will get healthy and fresh food everyday and we love to talk about anything :). Our culture (we are a Dutch - Belgian household), nature, eco projects and biological gardening, horses, barefoot trimming, art, politics. Or you pick a book out of our vast collection :).

We have various tasks to do daily, the biological garden always needs something to be done. Childcare ofcourse is a never ending activity :). Furthermore there is always some work with the horses: fencing, brining the hay in, trimming (Anne is a professional trimmer and would love to teach you), scything or cutting gras.. And ofcourse there are always general house keeping tasks to be done. So no skills required, just your enthousiastic self :).
