We are a small family of 3. Alberto, Anna and little Emma of 6,5yrs old, all passionate of sailing.
Our project is to explore the world using our "mobile house", our sail boat.
As her parents, our task is to allow Emma to continue the school with the same method that she has used during the last 3 and half years, the method of Maria Montessori, the greatest figure of teaching of the last century.
To do that we will have on board some of the Montessori material and we do look for AMI Montessori educators, teaching her on board on a weekly base.
Sailing often means not meeting people for weeks so to maintain a normal level of socialization our sailing boat is ready to accommodate children with one or both parents for 1 or 2 weeks during the coastal cruise legs.
Workawayers will have the chance to visit the world by the sea, while learning how to manage a sailing boat.
We will begin sailing in the Med for the first part of our project and then exploring what's outside!
For WA that cannot prove Montessori skills we can provide an ''au pair'' cooperation: accomodation and food and boats expenses but not their voyage to reach us or special visits etc.
Please do not hesitate to contact us only if you have written what we are looking for.
Happy sailing !

You can share with our family a new way of life while sailing and teaching with the Montessori system. Exploring habits, traditions and cultures of each country visited.
Learning how to manage a sailing boat by manoeuvring, sail trimming, navigation and save energy!
It will be a real floating experience exchange .
We are looking for native english and french speaking boy or girl willing to play, swim, exploring and teaching while sailing around Med. The Montessori method will be the favorite for teaching (class of 6-9 yrs).
So Montessori training skills are privileged.
Italian, french, english
Actually our ''old'' sailboat has no private cabin for the workawayer, but her/he can sleep in the saloon bed sharing our only toilet. We are looking for a new bigger sail boat with 3 cabins and 2 toilets.
We provide every day good italian food (Anna is a great chef) and a great breakfast to start with dynamism every day.
When in harbour or anchored you can have time off, free to visit and exploring villages, towns, natural parks and archeological sites. Some time we can rent a means of transport in order to plan visits.

We have pets
We are smokers
