Only persons that know and love cats are welcome! Must love to play with my 3 cats
We live in Iceland in Mosfellsbaer very close to Reykjavík. (15km)
Our house is on a big land, lots of trees a small river and we have 4 cats.
As we are both getting older (73) and my husband blind.
I desperately need a hand in my garden in summer.
I also need someone that does not mind chores like vacuming and house cleaning.
I am used to haveing foreign young people. Speak Danish and English well. I can send photos in email to intrested people.
I am an artist.
My husband worked as a radio host and a guide. Knows just about everything!

They will be almost in Reykjavík the capital and can go to all the museeums and other art activities. Also a nice swimming pool is very close by. Easy access to climbing mountains and hike.

You can take a bus to Reykjavík I also have a bike to use. Two nice swimmingpools very close and endless things to see in Reykjavík.

I spent amazing two weeks at a lovely house which is hiding in a tiny forest. In this magic house, a magic couple lives, the angel and chef in one person, Steinunn, her charming storyteller, Bubbi, and three cats. They are very nice and warm people. I felt there like at home. Thank you for all your kindness. Hope to see you again!

I spent a wonderful five weeks with Steinunn, Bubbi and their cats in their magically located home in October/November 2020. They will welcome you very warmly and kindly. You will have a nice room with a great view for yourself and Steinunn prepares delicious food (i still feast on the jams).

Being used to working on big projects before I found it challenging at the beginning but I got accustomed to the peculiarities of my hosts (including cats) and the rythm of the house. I felt like Harry Potter at times in a tiny (but cosy and private) room upstairs.

He is a wonderful young man to have around. Extremely helpful and warm. Did everything asked of him very well. We became good friends. He is like a family now.

I have nothing to say except this was the best Workaway experience I've ever done. Steinunn and Sigurdur are amazing hosts, very careful and polite. I felt at home from the beginning. I spent there around one month and it was such a great experience, every day was better and better. I miss them so much!

I had a really nice time with Steinunn. She has a really nice hose with a central location, a lot to see and do around and an fairy tale like surroundings.
So if you like a lot of good food, can help with some craftsmanship tasks or in the garden, then you should visit them. I will do it again on my next Iceland visit.

I have had such a great time in Iceland. Steinunn is such a great and charming host. The accomodation the daily work and the meals are amazing. She is a great cook and always imaginative. The task´s are different and I never had a dull moment.
