We are an Indian family residing in England and also have home in Punjab India. We have family land which needs maintaining , we have built a small concrete shed on the farm which has electricity and can be used for camping overnight and campfires are permitted. Our children really enjoy spending the night on the farm. We have an ancestry open plan village house which will be offered for accommodation. We also have a family home in England which also needs maintaining. If you would like to explore, We also have a family friend who can assist you and also take you places of interest/sightseeing for example: Golden temple, Dharmsala, McLeodganj, Palampur, Baijnath, Broat valley, Chintpurni temple, Banglamukhi ji temple, Jwala ji temple, Amritsar all historical places etc.

You can learn about the rural lifestyle of India, cultures in India, holy temples, local language and Hindi, Local cuisine, we can teach you how to cook traditional Indian food , if you would like to learn. You will be very welcome and receive great hospitality. We can share great knowledge and experiences with each other, you will be welcome to join our family dinner table for great food and laughs. This is same in England also.

Guests must be flexible and willing to work and learn , no skills required . General house work and maintenance
Our house in the village has just been refurbished we would like help putting the finishing touches to it, we need kitchen cupboards and shelves in our kitchen, any help will be appreciated.
Would like to a Build toilet & sitting area on family land for local villagers and visitors to use
General work on farm land such as, fence repair, weeding, and planting trees.
We need help in England for cooking , gardening and general house maintenance.

Accommodation
Private Accommodation and food shall be provided in exchange for work, details be discussed on enquiring.
Open plan house which will be solely used by guests, english toilet, shower, cooking facilities, landline phone, free wi-fi access. If preffered guests can cook their own meals in accommodation as cooking facilities are provided. There are several food shops nearby where you can purchase local produce.
What else ...
The golden temple is only a 2 hour drive away, coaches, car hires and trains are available, many beautiful religious and non religious places to visit for example bhakra nangal dam, McLeod ganj etc. We will give you information of places of interest and personal tour around the village and farm land, meet and greet with local farmers, tasting local produce as Punjab is a great place for exploring and learning.
We also have a family friend who can assist you and also take you places of interest/sightseeing for example: Golden temple, Dharmsala, McLeodganj, Palampur, Baijnath, Broat valley, Chintpurni temple, Banglamukhi ji temple, Jwala ji temple, Amritsar all historical places etc.
Also if anyone wishes to come to the UK there will be a lot to explore. All questions are welcome.
