Beschreibung
We are a family of 5 members: 2 adults and 3 girls (twins 12 years old, and the little one is 10 years old). We live in Catalonia in a village near the beach (5 km from the beach). We are very friendly and we love nature and animals. At home we have two dogs, four cats, eight chickens and three fishes. My husband is a biology teacher in high school and I am a medical doctor. We are ecologically conscious and eat organic and mostly locally produced food.
Our village is in Tarragona (south Catalonia), where Joan Miró, the painter, painted many of his works.
We live about 25 minutes to Tarragona (one of the more famous cites during the roman period) and about 1 hour to Barcelona. The nearest city to our vilage is Reus (the city of Gaudí Architect-Sagrada Família).
We are near a region called Priorat (UNESCO humanity heritage) with lots of wine routes, olive oil routes and nature.

At home you can learn Catalan and learn about catalan culture and traditions. We are a very active family, we collaborate in some local NGO and participate in ecological food cooperative. During weekends we usually go to the theatre, concerts or popular parties. You will have lot of free time to do what you want (to go to the beach, routes, museums...).
Last year we adopted a kind of german shepherd dog from the kennel, her name is Piga and she is arround 4 year old, she is very nice and she goes with us everywhere, so I hope you like dogs!
At home we speak Catalan, but if you want we can also help you with Spanish.

Arbeit
We are looking for a person who loves children to teach us (especially the kids) English, Italian or both. We would like you to spend 2-3 hours per day "teaching" english to the children. When we say teaching we mean: playing, reading tales, singing songs... having fun with them in English or Italian.
We are very interested in Scottish culture and traditions, so if you are from Scotland, be sure that we will be a good match!
