Description
Hello Workawayers
We have a large house with outdoor spaces to maintain. We have 3 children that are 26, 25 and 23 years old.
Pierrick, the eldest, is a veterinarian in western France.
Anouck works as an accountant and is studying to become a chartered accountant. She lives in the same village as us, so you'll probably see her.
Antoine was in Montreal last year to finish his studies in computer engineering, but he's now back home :) He has a remote job, so he lives with us 3 weeks a month.
We would like to have help with weeding, pruning the rosebushes, picking raspberries, watering the flowers. If you know how to renovate windows and paint them, and work with wood, that's even better. You will have some maintenance at home (cleaning the windows, the floor...) You will have time to walk or bike, enjoy the pool, the countryside....
We would like to have help 5 days a week and if you help us on weekends you will have time during the week. You will be part of the family for relaxation time if you wish.
I really enjoy the concept of workaway and I hope you will have a nice experience with us !

My husband is a farmer and you will have the possibility to discover the farm. We have cows, pigs and cereals fields.
There is also beautiful path if you enjoy running and cycling. We can lend you bike.
We like to eat together. You will discover traditionnal french food. We appreciate in particular cheese and meat.
There is also some museum, an old fortified castle, one of the most beautiful oak forest of the world.
Help
During the week I need help in the house (domestic chores : wash glass, wash shutter, vacuum...) ; cut the wither flowers and during the summer water the plant. We also have a swimming pool, so you could enjoy it and sometimes we must wash deckchair and the floor.
If you like painting and DIY there is also a lot to do.
If you are a good horse rider we have a thoroughbred mare. But be carefull you need to have experience with horse!
We have 3 cats and 2 dogs so if you are allergic it's not the good place. Moreover we live in a very small town so you have to like quiet place. There isn't nightclub here.
The work will not exceed 5 hours per day and 5 day per week. If there is an exceptionnal day with 6 or 7 hours of work you will have less work to do days after.
We like to eat meet and fish.

You will have your own room. The bathroom will be share with the family however we have two bathroom and during the summer we always use the swimming pool shower.
