    Description

Our ranch is located in the South Okanagan/Kootenay Boundary area on 1100 m over sea level. Our family with 2 kids moved here 10 years ago. We started on the 160 acre farm with a lot of fencing and had to build several sheds and barns for our animals.

We grow our own vegetable and salad in our garden. In the summer we cut the grass for hay for the sheep and horses during the winter. Our animals are raised ethically to produce our own meat/eggs and also to sell to some local people.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

The South Okanagan is well known for it's wonderfully warm climate. Especially during the summer time, swimming or in the lake or floating with tubes on rivers are a great thing to do. The lakes also bring the opportunity of canoeing, paddleboard, boat and seadoo rental.

Osoyoos has small, but fine culture and art exhibitions, museums, amusement park and more.

Our farm is located 25 minutes away from Osoyoos, BC and Rock Creek, BC. Living almost on top of the mountain, we have a lot of sunshine because we are out of the fog. In the summer it's up to 40C warm but it cools down for the night.
