  Description

  The mill is inhabited by us (Elisabeth, born 1957, Thomas, born 1960, our son Michael, born 1988, his wife Alena, born 1989, their son Luka, born 2020 and their daughter Mina, born 2023) since 2011.
  Our Grade II listed property (built 1300) consists of a residential house with mill, a barn and a farm building with vaulted cellar and large wood oven, 2 acres of meadow + 2 acres of wood, a 2 ares vegetable garden directly at the house and a 4 ares large kitchen garden.
  In recent years, we have freed up the areas around the house, built a sewage, renovated part of the house, built 2 toilets and a bathroom in loam construction, built an outdoor shower, cleared forests, planted hedges, set countless plants, made dry stone walls and gardens , rebuilt the brook bank, covered the barn newly, rebuilt the mill channel and the water wheel.
  We operate ecologically and feed us as afr as possible from the garden and animal products. Surpluses are preserved or sold from the farm (honey, eggs). Twice a year the honey is harvested. Bread is occasionally home-baked.
  There are few products purchased - we want to do as much as possible ourselves and value sustainability and careful use of all resources.
  We run a self-catering fun farming with eco-idealism. Workawayers can learn a lot and we also like to learn!
  
  Die Mühle wird von uns (Elisabeth, Jg. 1957, Thomas, Jg. 1960, unserem Sohn Michael, Jg. 1988, seiner Frau Alena, Jg. 1989, deren Sohn Luka, Jg. 2020 und deren Tochter Mina, Jg. 2023) seit 2011 bewohnt.
  Unser denkmalgeschütztes Anwesen (Bj. ca. 1300) besteht aus dem Wohnhaus mit Mühle, einer Scheune und einem Wirtschaftsgebäude mit Gewölbekeller und großem Holzbackofen, 2 ha Wiese + 2 ha Wald, einem 2 Ar großen Gemüsegarten direkt am Haus und einem ca. 4 Ar großen Nutzgarten.
  In den letzten Jahren haben wir die Flächen ums Haus freigestellt, eine Pflanzenkläranlage gebaut, einen Teil des Hauses renoviert, 2 WCs und ein Bad in Lehmbauweise eingebaut, eine Außendusche installiert, Wald gerodet, Hecken gepflanzt, unzählige Pflanzen gesetzt, Trockenmauern und Gärten angelegt, Bachufer neu befestigt, die Scheune neu gedeckt, den Mühlkanal reaktiviert und das Wasserrad neu aufgebaut.
  Wir wirtschaften ökologisch und ernähren uns weitgehend aus dem Garten und von den tierischen Produkten. Überschüsse werden konserviert bzw. ab Hof auch verkauft (Honig, Eier). Zweimal pro Jahr wird der Honig geerntet. Brot wird gelegentlich selbst gebacken.
  Es werden wenig Produkte zugekauft - wir wollen möglichst viel selbst machen und legen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit und sorgsamen Umgang mit allen Ressourcen.
  Wir betreiben eine Selbstversorger-Spaßlandwirtschaft mit Öko-Idealismus. Workawayer/innen können viel lernen und wir lernen auch gern dazu!
  
  Le moulin est habité depuis 2011 (Elisabeth, née en 1957, Thomas, né en 1960 et leur fils Michael, né en 1988, sa femme Alena, neé 1989, leur fils Luka, né 2020 et leur fille Mina, neé 2023).
  Notre établissement classé (construit environ en 1300) se compose de l'immeuble d'habitation avec moulin, une grange et une ferme avec cave voûtée et un grand four à bois, 2 ha pelouse + 2 hectares de forêt, un 2 Ar grand jardin potager à la maison et un environ 4 Ar grand potager.
  Ces dernières années, nous avons exempté les zones autour de la maison, construit une station d'épuration, rénové une partie de la maison, installé deux toilettes et une salle de bains dans la construction d'argile, installé une douche extérieure, autorisé forêts, planté des haies, ensemblé d'innombrables plantes, aménagé des murs de pierres sèches et des jardins , attaché à nouveau les banque de ruisseau, couvert la grange renové le canal de moulin et construit le roue à eau de nouveau.
  Nous opérons de manière écologique et nous nourrissons principalement du jardin et des produits animaux. Les surplus sont conservés ou vendus à la ferme (miel, oeufs). Deux fois par an, le miel est récolté. Le pain est parfois cuit à la maison.
  Il y a peu de produits achetés - nous voulons faire autant que possible nous-mêmes et valoriser la durabilité et l'utilisation prudente de toutes les ressources.
  Nous exploitons une agriculture amusante et autonome avec un éco-idéalisme. Les voleurs peuvent apprendre beaucoup et nous aimons aussi apprendre!

  We need helping hands in all necessary work according to inclination and ability, e.g. caring for animals, cultivating flower beds, harvesting and processing vegetables, gardening, cutting hedges, cultivating meadows, harvesting hay, cleaning stables, setting up fences, moving animals, harvesting honey, cooking, cleaning, creating and repairing clay walls, plastering with clay , painting with lime paint, creek shore rebuilt and many more.

  Wir brauchen helfende Hände bei allen anfallenden Arbeiten je nach Neigung und Fähigkeit, z.B. Versorgung der Tiere, Beete pflegen, Gemüse ernten und verarbeiten, Garten wässern, Hecken schneiden, Wiesen pflegen, Heu ernten, Ställe reinigen, Zäune richten, Tiere umtreiben, Honig ernten, Kochen, Putzen, Lehmwände erstellen und reparieren, Verputzen mit Lehm, Streichen mit Kalkfarbe, Bachuferbefestigung u.v.a.m.
  Wir freuen uns auf Leute, die Interesse haben und mitmachen wollen! Wir geben unser Wissen und unsere Erfahrungen gern weiter.
  Ganz nach Neigung und Können ist sicherlich für jeden das passende dabei.
  
  
  Nous avons besoin d’aide dans tous les travaux nécessaires en fonction de l’inclination et de la capacité, p. ex. prendre soin des animaux, cultiver des plates-bandes, récolter et transformer des légumes, jardiner, couper des haies, cultiver du foin, nettoyer des étables, dresser des clôtures, transporter des animaux, récolter du miel , peindre à la peinture à la chaux et bien d'autres.
  Nous attendons avec impatience les personnes intéressées et désireuses de s’inscrire! Nous sommes heureux de partager nos connaissances et notre expérience.
  Selon l'inclinaison et la capacité, il y a certainement quelque chose pour tout le monde.

  Accommodation

  Guestrooms in the annex and garden shed. Shared use of toilet and outdoor shower (no bathroom available), straw storage in the hayloft, or if you want in the tent brought.
  The meals are taken together, help in the kitchen is desired. Our helpers are part of the family and we wish them to be open minded.
  No TV and radio available. No mobile reception in the house possible (but about 200 meters away).
  No internet in the guest rooms, Wi-Fi on demand only.
  
  
  Gästezimmer im Nebengebäude und Gartenhaus. Gemeinsame Nutzung von WC und Außendusche (noch kein Bad vorhanden), Strohlager auf dem Heuboden, oder wenn ihr wollt im mitgebrachten Zelt.
  Die Mahlzeiten werden gemeinsam eingenommen, Hilfe in der Küche ist erwünscht. Unsere Helfer werden Teil der Familie und wir wünschen uns Leute, die offen sind für Kommunikation.
  Kein Fernsehen und Radio vorhanden. Kein Mobilfunkempfang im Haus möglich (dafür aber ca. 200 m entfernt).
  Kein Internet in den Gästezimmern, WLan nur zeitweise verfügbar.
  
  
  Chambres dans l'annexe et abri de jardin. Utilisation partagée des toilettes et de la douche extérieure (pas de salle de bain disponible), stockage de paille dans le grenier à foin, ou si vous voulez dans la tente.
  Les repas sont pris ensemble, l'aide de la cuisine est souhaitée. Nos aides font partie de la famille et nous voulons des personnes ouvertes à la communication.
  Pas de télé et radio disponible. Pas de réception mobile dans la maison possible (mais à environ 200 mètres).
  Pas d'Internet dans les chambres, Wi-Fi selon l'arrangement.

  The mill is located in the hilly landscape of the high Odenwalds at 430 m above sea level in the valley of the Elz creek. All around are forest / nature reserves and fields. The area is sparsely populated, larger cities are Buchen (7 km), Walldürn (14 km) and Mosbach (20 km). Until Heidelberg it is 1 hour by car, as well as Würzburg or Heilbronn. The region is perfect for hiking and cycling, you can rent bikes from us. Our mill is in a radio hole, so we have almost no electrosmog load here.
  
  
  Die Mühle liegt in der hügeligen Landschaft des hohen Odenwalds auf 430 m ü. NN im Tal der Elz. Ringsherum erstrecken sich Wald-/Naturschutzgebiete und Felder. Die Gegend ist dünn besiedelt, größere Städte sind Buchen (7 km), Walldürn (14 km) und Mosbach (20 km). Bis Heidelberg ist es 1 Autostunde, ebenso bis Würzburg oder Heilbronn. Die Region ist perfekt zum Wandern und Rad fahren, Fahrräder könnt ihr von uns ausleihen. Unsere Mühle liegt in einem Funkloch, wir haben daher hier fast keine Elektrosmogbelastung.
  
  
  Le moulin est situé dans le paysage vallonné des hauts Odenwald à 430 m d'altitude dans la vallée de l'Elz. Tout autour se trouvent des forêts / réserves naturelles et des champs. La région est peu peuplée, les grandes villes sont Buchen (7 km), Walldürn (14 km) et Mosbach (20 km). Jusqu'à Heidelberg, il est à 1 heure en voiture, ainsi que Würzburg ou Heilbronn. La région est parfaite pour la randonnée et le cyclisme, vous pouvez louer des vélos chez nous. Notre moulin est dans un trou radio, donc nous n'avons presque pas de charge d'électrosmog ici.
