    Description

We are a traditional Nepali ashram situated one hour away from Kathmandu in a local village.

Founded in 2001, we organize yoga retreats and yoga teacher trainings to international guests.
It is said that Nepal is the land of Yoga and our mission is to preserve and teach those ancient practices transmitted from masters to disciples through generations.

As it is an ashram, there are a lot of things to do and to work on. We have an organic garden where we produce our food, we are running 1-2 yoga classes a day, kirtan, sanskrit reading and our own temple where we do tantra rituals like puja and fire ceremonies each morning.

We are looking for people who wish to join a small and vibrant spiritual community, learn more about Yoga and offer whatsoever skills they have. We offer karma yoga in the morning to keep the ashram tidy but we need expertise from people who which to stay long time and help out the ashram to develop.

Now, we are looking for someone motivated to help us with our online presence, in order to be found by potential spiritual seekers and yogis around the world, so they may come for a stay at our ashram or realize one of our online courses.

Your main tasks are generating and publishing content on our website in English (fueled by the Guru and yogis living here). You have experience in digital marketing like Search engine optimization and user experience. You pay attention to details and are used to work self-directed. Basic video and audio editing skills are appreciated. You manage our communities on social media platforms like Facebook or Youtube.
Furthermore, you maintain our listings on retreat booking platforms. You monitor and attend inquiries, mails or comments in a warm and professional way.

We believe with passion and dedication each person can bring its best to the community. We would love to welcome you here for as long as you want, at least three months in order to learn about Tantra Yoga so to communicate about it with confidence.

In exchange of your time and energy you will have the opportunity to dive deep into yoga and meditation, to experience an authentic yogi lifestyle and we will make our best to make you growth into your yoga practice. You will be provided as well with cozy and comfortable accommodations, access to all facility of the ashram, 24 hrs wifi and 3 delicious home cooked meals a day. All you need is a positive and dynamic attitude and a genuine curiosity in spiritual topics.

We are the perfect sanctuary to go back into the simplicity of life.

Here, Yoga is more than a practice, it is a way of living. Yogi Prakash, the founder and chairman, began studying yoga at the age of 12. After having complete a teacher training course at Bihar Yoga University in India and being initiated by Niranjanananda Saraswati, he then returned to Nepal, the Land of Tantra. Pursuing his passion for yoga, he spent the next twelve years studying Kundalini and Tantra yoga with Swami Shivalingam. We teach a traditional yoga that has been passed from generation to generation. We often organize festivals and events to spread the philosophy of yoga.
