    Description

Hello dear beautiful beings, hello yogis, hello tantrics, hello world citizens, hello nature lovers and hello everyone who wants to experiment a conscious family lifestyle!

We are a family living on Mallorca with 3 kids (1, 3 & 6 years old). Our home base is the beautiful UNESCO world heritage village Bunyola. Here we live in a 4 bedroom apartment with a huge balcony, which has amazing views of the mountains. We eat mostly vegan & organic in our house (sometimes lacto-vegetarian) and make sure our kids grow up in a loving, conscious & holistic way always close and connected to nature.

Our two older kids go to alternative schools every normal weekday, our little one still stays at home. This november I will be travelling for a week with the little one and we are looking for someone to support Juan & our two elder kids for a few hours while he is bringing/picking up the other one from school and maybe in the afternoon if he has massage clients. We would be very happy if you can help with some daily household tasks. For sure he‘d be happy to share a yoga class with you in his free time and tell you about the best walks to do in the area.

It‘s an amazing opportunity to get to know the local life in Mallorca of an open-minded and conscious living family with small kids. We are looking forward to meeting you!

We practise a yoga lifestyle and therefore eat a healthy vegetarian (mostly vegan) diet, using organic and local food whenever possible. You will have an authentic experience of "the new generation of farmers" in Colombia. During your stay you will be able to aquire some theoretical & practical knowledge about yoga, tantra, meditation, organic agriculture, bioconstruction, vegetarian cooking and a transforming contact with nature.

Right now there is a lot of pioneer work to do – germinate seeds, plant trees, cut bush, bioconstruction, discover hidden trees and plants, open walks, paint signs and much more, always applying and studying the principles of permaculture. We like volunteers to really live this work as a meditation and practise giving service from the heart.

Most mornings we start the day at 6am with meditation, yoga or similar activities (optional to join, sometimes guided - sometimes free practise). Occasionally we practise something called SHARING (word circle), where you have the chance to deeply express from your heart what you are feeling inside you. Spontaneously we find us dancing and doing musical improvisations circles. Sometimes we practise other activities like Kirtan or an Active Meditation in the afternoons and we also like to be in silence sometimes. Naturism is welcome, especially around the river. If you like you can to be the initiator/ space holder of any of these activities! Often we sit around the fire at night, letting flow the collective intelligence, inspiration and creativity, listening to what the Sierra Nevada wants to tell us and connecting to our own deep intuition within ourselves, always with the intention to develop our virtues, improve ourselves and heal the spirit, transforming this place a healing oasis for everyone who feels the call. We invite you to share and celebrate life together as the heart family.

    Autres infos...

Our farm is located at about 2.5hours from Santa Marta or Riohacha, 45min from Palomino or 30min from Rio Ancho in Mototaxi.

There is no signal or internet connection on the farm yet (at 20minutes walk you can get data connection on your phone) and no electricity, but we will try to connect every Tuesday and every Friday to be able to answer requests and to confirm dates – to get used to the daily farm routine we decided to have a minimum stay of at least 10 days, rather recommended 2 weeks, always prefering a longer stay (also for our daughter). Please tell us the time you can really compromise to, this is important also for the amounts of food we buy.

Please be aware that we live in a tropical semi-jungle together with all kinds of animals (huge variety of insects, spiders, snakes... ), so it is recommended to wear long sleeve shirts, long pants and boots. The climate in this place is warm and humid, but with a fresh mountain breeze, a hot sun at midday hours and afternoons of strong rain and thunderstorms in the rainy seasons (oct-nov, mar-apr).

We have no filtering system and want to protect nature as much as possible, therefore we only use natural and handmade soaps/shampoos. You are welcome to bring your own natural ones or can buy it here from a local person. Also please try to bring as little plastic/ rubbish as possible to the farm. To maintain a pure and clean atmosphere we kindly ask you to abstain from any kind of tobacco/ alcohol/ drugs during your stay. It may be possible though that during your stay we use any of the medicinal plants in ceremonial way.

We have no income from our farm yet (& no big variety of food), so most food has to be brought from quite far. That is why we ask volunteers to provide for their own food- we offer to buy it for you & bring it from town (contribution of 15mil - please pay at arrival). We all cook together & take turns with the daily tasks (apart from the 3 hours of farm work everyone does).

Following a list of things to bring:
tent & mat (if you prefer to bring your own)
    sleeping bag
    long-sleeve shirts, long pants
    rain/swamp boots (for protection, important)
    flash light
solar charger (in case you need your phone for anything, there is no reception)
natural (!!!) soap/shampoo (also available here)
    towel
    toilet paper
    healthy snacks (also available here)
    refillable water bottle for hiking
rain cover/ jacket/ umbrella (in the rainy season)
    repellent (natural if you find)
    suncreen (or use our hats)
    as little rubbish as possible
    positive attitude & smiles!! :-)

In your free time you can take a nature walk, go to the waterfalls, swim in natural swimming pools, visit the neighbours, read a book from our little library, play music or anything else you enjoy doing.

We are looking forward to getting to know you soon, sharing beautiful experiences with you, getting closer to nature together & learning from each other.

    NAMASTE.

Juan, Anika, Kataleya, Stefany & Chalo.

carpa y colchoneta (solo si prefieres tu propia)
    linterna (solar o mucha bateria!)
elementos de aseo ecologicos!!! (jabones naturales disponibles aqui tambien)
    toalla
    papel sanitario
    snacks saludables

    NAMASTE.

Juan, Anika, Kataleya, Stefany & Chalo.
