Description
I'm Imogen, 1959, my daughter, Francesca, 1999 and her boyfriend Augustin 1998
We are german, but live here since 1980.
We live here with 2 horses, 2 dogs, 7 cats and chickens. Soon we will have bees again.
There are hundreds of big old olivetrees, so that we produce a lot of excellent oliveoil.
We rent the old farmhouse to summerguests, thats our main money entance.
I'm a classic homeopath and love it.
I'm also a yoga teacher but now I practice less.
I'm overhelmed with work, the farm is too big for one person.
We eat biological food, very rarely meat and fish. You can cook it, if you like.
We have no clear organisation, we try to find the best solution for everybody and from case to case.
I'm very interested in culture, literature, film, theater, art and music. There is a piano.
I also participate at political activities here around.
I like people who don't think only about themselves.
The longer you stay, the better it is! (Even years!)

There is help for everybody. Stonewalls, tree cutting, fences, house reparation, sawing, cooking, tecnic things, woodworking, cleaning, gardening..
We would be happy if someone remains for a long time!

I had a lovely time helping with the olive harvest with Imogen and her family. I very much appreciated how well taken care of we were, the meals were always great and the accomodations were very cozy. I loved getting to spend time with Masha and Coco (the dogs) and the cats as well. Thanks for a lovely couple weeks :)

Eloi was here five days, worked well and then left.
He is a nice boy, but he threw his own complication on others.
There was no need for all that.
PS: the washing-machine was simply not full enough!
I asked him to wait one other day.
And: YUHU! now we have a new provider, so we have always internet!

The place Imogen lives in is beautiful. It is isolated from everything, very difficult access to a sea/lake/town/trainstation. Imogen nicely took me from the train station Gavorrano, and brought me back when I left.

Karin was extremly helpfull!
I hope she comes back soon.
Whatever was needed, she did it quicker then I could think about it.
I felt relaxed and she took the weight of my farm of my shoulders for a week.

Ich war eine Woche bei Imogen in der schönen Toskana. Ich habe Imogen vor allem beim Aufräumen, Putzen, beim Versorgen der Tiere und auf dem Olivenhain unterstützt. Imogen hat viele Geschichten und Wissen mit mir geteilt, es gab immer gutes Essen und genug Zeit um die Schönheit der Gegend zu genießen. Ich werde wiederkommen. Danke 🙏

I had to go away from my farm and let it in full confidence to them.
They didnt disappoint me. They looked after the animals and had cure of everything.
