    Description

We are a private, non profit organization working for the conservation of nature, sustainable living and animal rescue in Mexico. Founded in 2015, it is located in San Juan Tzicatlacoyan, Puebla, Mexico, a 125 ha sanctuary for mistreated or abandoned animals. We are in the building process and need help to finish the volunteer house and continue to set up animal habitats, as well as maintain the installations already in existence and care for the animals in the Sanctuary, mostly domestic and farm animals. The whole project is eco friendly and looks to spread knowledge about sustainable living in harmony with nature to communities and visitors as well. The sanctuary is not open to the public, but welcomes anybody who would like to contribute to the well being of these beautiful animals and to the spreading of these principles.
Installations at the Sanctuary are simple and rustic. As we are far from civilization, we have no electricity or public services. We collect and store rain water, pulling it out for our daily use, and have the sun and moon for lighting ;)
