Description
I live in Peel Forest NZ 15 mins. drive from Geraldine. My sister is currently staying here and works nearby. The homestead was built in 1882 and is surrounded by native bush, farmland and established garden. We love entertaining and meeting people from all walks of life. We have chickens, ducks, two cats and a dog..all friendly and love meeting new faces. I also have cattle on the property. I love cooking and you can also be involved with. A car is not necessary but would be helpful. We love travelling and meeting new people. You will have the opportunity to meet friends and family.

Mary welcomed us with open arms and made sure we felt comfortable from the very beginning.

We never got bored with the tasks, really diverse stuff to do there, even outside when the weather was fine and inside (gardening, maintenance, cleaning). Also the accommodation was really comfy. We also fell in love of Mary's delicious food she prepared everyday, and we really liked the chats at nights with the cup… read more

Daily duties included maintaining the garden, cooking, and cleaning rooms.
The work was laid back and easy.
We really enjoyed chatting with Mary, Francis, their family, and visiting guests. We’ll definitely be back to visit!!
