  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Volunteers will be able stay in a combined room of up to four people in their own house. There are four rooms, so we are capable of housing up to 10 to 14 volunteers at once. The volunteer house has electricity and a shared bathroom with western toilet and hot shower. Part of the house is still in construction, but we use solar power and are connected to the grid. We are trying to build a separate kitchen for the volunteers to use, but currently the kitchen is shared between the workers, Family , the volunteers and sometime with other guests. You are welcome to use the kitchen as you wish. There is currently no internet at the homestay, but we are working to change this for the future.

There is another accommodation also available TOP of the Kiwi farm and first faller of caw set. It has bamboo bedrooms and small separate bamboo kitchen. This accommodation is less facilatede.
I am not always on the farm property, but there will always be someone helping the volunteers and making sure they are taken care of.

Volunteers will be provided with 3 meals a day of Nepali traditional food. We use many local food and vegetables in our cooking. The food is simple, but delicious, healthy cultural food.

This is one of the best trekking areas in Nepal. You will be able to see a beautiful lake, the second tallest waterfall in Nepal, majestic views of the Himalayan mountains including Kanchenjunga, the third largest mountain in the world. There are good hiking trails in the area with incredible views, depending on the season. In the local village, we have a shopping market for vegetables and fruits where you can you meet local Nepalese people. We can help you with transportation and give you directions to all of the best sites, and hopefully help you see a red panda! We have another Organic Agriculture Farm. There is beautiful Organic Tea Gurdren , KIWI farm and Cadamom nursery and farm. So we can bring Voluners to go there and give opputunity to work over there also.
