    Description

We are a small holiday resort located in the Western Tatras at the entrance to the picturesque Kościeliska Valley. Nearby there is an exit to many mountain hiking trails, the largest thermal springs in Poland - the Chochołowskie Baths and most frequently visited by tourists in winter Zakopane. Our cozy center consists of three buildings in which we welcome tourists, as well as organize first aid training and smaller conferences. Our values are hospitality, relaxation close to nature, home-like atmosphere and tasty traditional cuisine.

Because the center is owned by the Volunteer Fire Brigade (which is an NGO), the volunteer work is particularly close to our hearts, thus apart from tourists our guests are frequently volunteer firefighters. All the profit from our resort is used to support the Volunteer Fire Brigades - especially buying firemen equipment or funding firemen training. We invite everyone who would like to spend time in a beautiful, peaceful area, love mountain trips and share our volunteer values.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

The Western Tatras are probably one of the most amazing and breathtaking places in Poland. The proximity of Kościeliska Valley - the starting point of various hiking trails is a huge advantage for everyone who likes mountain trips. In the winter there is an abundance of alpine skiing sites, in the summer you can rent water bikes or sailing boats on nearby lakes. The neighboring town Zakopane (7,4 km) is famous for its restaurants, cafes and music clubs, as well as many sport facilities, cultural and historical sites.

The Polish highlands - Podhale - is also a region with a distinctive and rich cultural heritage including traditional costumes, still worn on important occasions; specific cuisine with a variety of lamb based dishes as well as sheep and cow cheeses; a widely used local dialect and characteristic architecture and art. Volunteering at our resort you would be able to get acquainted with the local culture - the staff comes from the region and the director has experience in traditional shepherding.

At the moment our Internet connection isn't very good. It depends heavily on the weather and the number of tourists in the area. When the weather is bad (wind, heavy rain) or when there's a lot of people using the Internet, the connection can be really bad or not work at all. On normal days though the Internet works well - you can easily stream movies on several devices.
