    Description

***Months of March, April & May are very hot(day time temperature may go upto 40℃) in our place.Hence, we don't prefer engaging volunteers during these months. If any volunteer used to hot climate may be considered during these months.

*I have become a host in November 2019.
Till date I have hosted two Indian volunteers and two international volunteers.(4 volunteers till date.)
    *Lastly,from 31-December-2022 to
27-January-2023(28 days),I have hosted an Indian volunteer(my fourth volunteer) in my place.

●I am Krishnakumar(57)(you can address me as KRISHNA),involved in one acre of organic farming and native cattles rearing. My home is located in the farm itself.I stay with my wife Lakshmi(56) and my mother Gandhi mathi(79).Our children {1Daughter(26)& 1Son(22)(my son is an experienced work away volunteer)} are away now for business and study. They occasionally visit our home and go back to their work.

Presently our farm has 6 native cattles,4 dogs, fruit trees, vegetable plants, etc.,
I and my wife has worked as Lecturers for 30+ years in a nearby polytechnic college.I had my graduation in Mechanical Engineering and my Post Graduation in Production Engineering. My wife had her graduation in Civil Engineering. Both of us opted for voluntary retirement in December:2018 and now involved in organic farming in our own land.

We have another farm (6acres) (0.2km from my home),which has red banana crops presently and in the near future this farm also has to be transformed into organic farm.Workawayers can help me in this farm also.

Our day to day farm work involves(volunteers can involve) in all kind of farming activities in the one acre organic farm. That is taking care of the cattles, dogs, feeding, watering the plants, earthing up,weeding, preparing mulch materials, mulching, harvesting fruits and vegetables, preparing and applying organic inputs, planting saplings, nursery work, sowing seeds, collection of seeds, etc.,

We can spare one spacious room(cot, beds, blankets provided) of our home with attached bath and toilet facilities which can accommodate 1 volunteer. If rooms are not available in the home, a private room in the annexure building will be provided.
Food prepared in our home can be shared for 3 times a day.
If possible "twin hearts meditation" can be introduced by our practicing friends to the willing volunteers.

Alcohol/Drug/any kind of narcotics consumption inside the home and farm has to be avoided. For cigarette smokers outside the home within the farm a smoking point can be provided.

    * I have great trust in the humanity.
hence,I am willing and ready to host the "new workaway volunteers of India and foreign countries" without any feedbacks and also the experienced volunteers.
**Self driven and high energy level volunteers are preferred.
