    Description

I live in the interior of British Columbia, Canada, close to the entrance to Wells Gray Provincial Park. I live on just under an acre of property in the centre of a small town. My home is across the road from a small lake that is wonderful to swim in, kayak and paddle board on. There are wonderful walking trails close by and amazing waterfalls within less than an hours drive. The town is small enough that you can walk most places. People come to our area just for the river rafting.

My goal when I retired from my work life was to be self sustainable with an organic garden, chickens and bees. Unfortunately my husband became ill. I'm looking for people who are interested in coming to one of the most beautiful places in British Columbia and helping me for a few hours a day. I have a large vegetable garden and several kinds of fruit (cherries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, rhubarb, apples, blueberries, concord grapes) and flower beds. I compost and I do not use any herbicides in my garden.

I need some small repair jobs done and general clean up around the yard. I have a 6-year old English collie dog who is very friendly and loves to go walking. Because of the proximity to the swimming lake my grandchildren ages love to pop in and go swimming.

I live in a small rural community at the gateway to Wells Gray Provincial Park which is the 3rd largest wilderness provincial park in British Columbia. People who love unspoiled wilderness come from all over the world each year to visit our area.
