    Description

    Hi there! Hola! Hallo! Bonjour!

We are looking for a couple to house sit for about 17 or 24 days in preferably March 2024 or eventually April 2024 . A drivers license is needed if you want to leave every now and then. Or we can arrange a taxi who will bring you some weekly groceries
    .
You will stay at a cabin on the farm with your own bed. The farm is 12 km from the closest village so if you have special needs, bring them on your arrival. We can pick you up from the village Castillos and bring you to the farm.

The work will consist of taking care of two sweet dogs, a bunch of chickens a cat and taking care of the garden (pruning, harvesting, transplanting seedlings in the veggie garden). Afterwards we can also offer you a stay at the beach in one of our cabins where you can do some gardening as well.
As we live off grid, you should be aware that we don't have loads of water, we depend on rain water. (drinking water in bottles is available) but daily (long) showers are not an option here. The same accounts for washing, in periods of drought we carefully take care of water.

We do have WiFi and electricity via a solar panel system. Furthermore you can use our whole house, kitchen, etc.

Preferably the day of arrival would be between Thursday and Monday. .

    Hope to see you soon!

We have a huge farm, so there is always a spot to park your van. You can easily do some nice day trips from here, eg Cabo Polonio, Barra de Valizas, Punta del Diablo, sierras the Rocha, laguna negra and bird spotting at the Rocha lagoon. We also have two cabins at the beach, if you like to stay there, ask us.
