  Hi There and Welcome to NZ.
  
  We are a family owned and operated tourism business. We run jet boat tours, mountain biking, canoeing , tramping and accommodation.
  
  Our lodge is situated deep in the Whanganui National Park wilderness region. North Island. We are the only Whanganui River accommodation of this kind in the area. To get to us you have to travel 21km 30 minutes up river by jet boat. There are no roads to us.
  
  At the Lodge we offer fully catered and back packer type accommodation. Buffet meals and a licensed bar. We also have a campground with cabins and tenting.
  
  As well as the above we have a farm with sheep, cattle, horses and bees.
  
  Guests come up river on the jet boat and we also have heaps of people either mountain biking for a day or canoeing 2 days to get to the Lodge.
  
  We have guests from all over the world and a number of guided tour groups as well. Most people stay one or two nights so there is a high turnover. Lots of beds to make, washing to do and more.

  You will live in a unique part of NZ. We are very remote but you will have contact with heaps of NZers as well as meeting people from all over the world. You will learn about the Kiwi culture and about living off the grid! Meet other woofers make friends for life!

  Arbeit

  We are looking for someone who is versatile. We would like you to help in the Lodge with, general house work, vaccuming, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, windows, kitchen hand, basic food prep, dishes and general cleaning.
  
  Also looking for someone to do gardening and outdoor work. Weed eating, lawns, spraying blackberry, pruning, waterblasting, painting etc
  
  Would suit singles or couples but we do need you to be able to stay for at a minimum of a month, 4 weeks.

  Unterkunft

  Bunk room available in staff house. Shared bathroom and kitchen in main Lodge building. May be required to stay in campground or tent (short term) on arrival! No cell phone coverage. TV and internet use also available

  Was noch ...

  As we are situated in the midst of the Whanganui river we can offer jet boat transport back to the main road. Car access may be available if appropriate licences held but will only be provided for lodge related work. Jet boats run daily. We offer many activities such as hunting, camping, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, jet boat tours. .
  Looking for longer term workers if available. Look forward to meeting you! :)
