Description
I am a television producer who has worked on such American television shows as Project Greenlight, The Voice, Dancing with the Stars, The Osbournes, Top Chef, Street Outlaws, Big Brother, The Real Husbands of Hollywood, and America's Next Top Model...among others. After 20+ years of hard work in the industry, my family decided to go on an around the world adventure, which started in late June 2016. We've travelled the world (18 countries/6 continents) and homeschooled our kids (ages 5+8) as well as put them into schools in various countries. We documented the whole trip HD cameras and are now looking for someone who wants to help edit our videos, do some nannying, and help relaunch our brand... We want to show families HOW to travel the world for longer spurts with children and use the world as a classroom.
We immersed ourselves into the local cultures where we were living and experienced "real life." in many of these place. In a few of the locations, our children went to local schools for the month.

This gap year was our daughter Kerala's 2nd grade and our son Julian's last year of Pre-K. Kerala (named after the state in India) continued her Spanish immersion schooling and Julian prepared to get into a Spanish immersion kindergarten. We are now looking for a live-in helper, with a $250/week stipend, food, and private room in exchange for about 25 hours of work per week in Los Angeles, CA. The dates are basically July 2023 through January 2024. We will request that about 15 of those hours per week will be driving our kids to their activities so a valid Driver's license is needed. Any work that we request that is over the 25 hours/week will be paid at a rate of $15/hour.
Thanks and welcome to our world schooling adventure!

Help
This is a rare opportunity to get your foot into the door with a very well respected and connected American television producer. We are looking for someone that's willing to shoot and help organize footage, doing some some light media management and social media for us. This could give the right candidate a screen credit on a travel documentary series that has good potential for American television distribution. The knowledge and production experience that the traveller will gain is extraordinary. SPANISH or Italian LANGUAGE SKILLS are a plus but solid English skills required. Some video production experience, a positive attitude, and being good with kids are also a huge plus!
