WE NEED HELP IN JUNE; helping out whit animals and farm works ! Its importent that you have some kinde of expirience whit animal, because we are waiting some foals that time.
Please send ous a message if you are interested !

Hello. We have a small farm where we have different projects at any given time. The farm is located in beautiful Nordfjord in Western Norway. It is a place filled with history all the way back to the Vikings. We breed mini Shetland ponies on the farm.

We are Ole Morten (57) and Caroline (59). On the farm we currently have 22 ponies, 2 dogs and a cat. We are expecting foals in the spring, so maybe we need some help with looking after the ponies during this time. We also have a cabin in the mountains that you can use if you are interested in outdoor life and fishing for trout in the lakes.

We are looking for people with experience in maintenance of old buildings, exterior painting of buildings, maintenance and construction of fences and other construction projects. If you are interested in coming to help us, you are most welcome. With us, you will be included in our little family.

In 2024, we have these projects:
External maintenance of stables and horse fence.
    Painting horse fences
Changing the exterior panel and window on the house we live in.
    New roof on some buildings
Replace old fences with new ones

If you have some experience with this type of work and are a bit handy, contact us.

We can offer experiences on the beautiful Norwegian west coast. There are opportunities for hiking in the mountains and fishing in the fjord. The farm is partly run in the old way. This means that one gets to learn old traditional ways of running farms. We have machines for use with the most heavy work, these also need maintenance. On the farm there are many buildings that also need maintenance. Paint, panel change etc.

In 2009, the renowned National Geographic Traveler Magazine voted the Fjords of Western Norway the best preserved attraction on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. That is quite an honour – but there are many others! Lonely Planet for instance, put Fjord Norway on the list of 8 voyages of a lifetime.
