  Beschreibung

  We are in the process of developing a healing centre. It will be a place where people can come reconnect with themselves and with nature, while participating in daily life activities.
  We are at the beginning stages of the project.
  Its on a 65 acre farm which was an equestrian centre and we are converting some of the stables into practice spaces and living accommodation.
  The plan with the land is to develop it into a sanctuary for nature, planting native trees and returning the land to a natural habitat. We will create walkways to meander through.
  Theaim is to create an organic garden, growing as much of our own food as possible.
  Anybody with a passion for cooking, DIY or gardening is welcome. I enjoy being a tour guide to show you some of our beautiful countryside.
  
  ABOUT US
  Eugene:
  I have had careers in social work, teaching ( physical education ), construction, wood flooring and joinery business, director of shiatsu school, yoga and meditation teacher.
  Raised a family, lived in Canada, travelled. I am a " there is no box" kinda guy. Still living my life. I love encountering and exchanging with young people of different cultures.
  Andy:
  I am a qualified electrician. I have been studying and practice shamanic healing for the past 15 years..
  I am interested in using our natural herbs and studying their medicinal properties.

  Andy and Eugene are both Irish natives with a passion for our culture, history and identity. Andy is a musician.
  I have 25 years experience studying yoga and meditation and worked for over 30 years in building and construction which I will be sharing with anyone with an interest.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for people who are interested in an alternative way of living. Enjoy being in and working with nature. At this point of the project we need many different skills.
  Anyone with building and diy skills and interest in gardening and trees, as we have many trees to plant.
  Help around the house with cooking and cleaning.

  Unterkunft

  There are sleeping pods in a communal area with kitchen and sitting room as well as showers and toilets. We will eat together, taking turns and sharing in the cooking.

  The property is located 3 km from the small town of Cootehill. Cavan town is 20 km away.
  Next to the property is a horse riding school.
  There are lakes and beautiful trails and woods in the area.
  Cavan has some ancient sites that can be explored. We are close to the border with Northern Ireland and Dublin is an hour and a half away.
