Welkom to our family. We, Bianca and Roland, have a farm, a farm shop and a winery with our vineyard. At the farm we grow crops like potato, onions, sucker beet, tulips, and on. At the farm is a shop with lots of products from the farm and other farms in the area.
We like you to stay at our place, to learn from each other, and we love to show you around at lovely place's like Blokzijl and Giethoorn in the great national park "The Weerribben". We live very close to it!
Our farm is called Maronesse, close to Marknesse and Blokzijl. at here site you can find more info about it.
Your help days are Monday till Friday.
Normal day: Start at 8, koffie and breakfast at 9 till 9.30 and help till noon.
After the tasks your free to go and we provide bikes to travel in the area.
There is an allowance of 50 Euro a person a week for you to buy some food in the supermarket. You can cook in the holiday house where you stay
Some evenings we like to have a nice chat together with a couple of beers or wine, and some evenings we like to take some time for ourselves.
The most important thing is that we can trust you, and then you will have a great time at our farm!

You will be staying in a caravan for you're privacy. We have 4 caravans available.
They are like a holiday house with kitchen shower and toilet.
Towels, bedding etc. are provided.

I spent 20 days and it was my first experience of voluntary exchange. The work was good, the accommodation was comfortable and there were other workawayers there who were very nice people. Roland and Bianca were welcoming.
Despite the cold and my bad English, I recommend this, it's a special and charming place.

Sorry for the late feedback! We were at Rolands in September for 5 weeks. We had a great experience there and we meet amazing Workawayers from all over the world. Rafael and Lara are great to meet! they took a lot of responsibitity and they worked really hard.
They did a lot of work in the grapes and on the field. But also at home they were always helpfull.
They have seen a lot of our area by bike and scooter :-) .
We can really recommend them, you will have a lot of fun and get some hard working olunteers.

We stayed with Roland and Bianca for 4 weeks, they got us at the station, and showed us around the two main cities to go. It was my first workaway experience and it was amazing. They picked me up at the station and went sightseeing. Later I met the family and other workawayers, we had dinner and played mario kart :) Made me feel home right away. The work was also fun and i learned a lot more about the dutch culture now. Would definitely go back!

Klaus and Madeleine have been a great couple at the farm. Always working hard and in the free ours Klaus cooked us delicious diners. They are easy going and having good tanks.

Our stay here was awesome. Great dutch family with nice kids. Foods excellent! Very relaxed and entertaining hosts. Great place to check out the countryside of Holland. Really nice facilities and caravans are great. Help is good and chance to be in the outdoors on a vineyard.
