Our community is a space for conversing, learning, and reflecting. We create and encourage dialogue to bring diverse individuals together, and to empower them for the purpose of positive change. We gather a group of strangers around a dinner table, to discuss a chosen topic. It is designed to allow people to feel comfortable to debate tedious social issues and personal matters without the pressure or judgement. It aims to offer people a sense of community and to allow them to contribute within their society. We believe change can start with a dialogue, and with the rapidly changing world around us, it is important to take a moment to talk. We encourage a safe space lacking of judgment, so people can be inspired to share and hear others. It allows others’ beliefs to be a part of your life with a hope for change.
Participants to our events are a mix of both locals and internationals in their mid 20s to mid 40s. While the majority of the participants speak English, the opportunity to speak Arabic is always available for those who require or desire this. We seek to provide a welcoming and non-judgemental space in which individuals can share their perspectives, passions and ideas. Here we believe that dialogue is necessary in a modern world characterized by contrast and change and can show us new ways of perceiving ourselves and the world we live in.
We believe that the concept of our project has the potential to spread throughout the world, whereby dialogue is facilitated in homes and public spaces at any time. Imagine a global community of individuals becoming connected, inspired and empowered to create individuals and societal change.

In exchange for all of your hard work we offer accommodation, food, a peaceful, beautiful house and surrounding environment, and a chance to get to know a friendly bunch of people. We are located in one of the most active and open-minded areas of Amman (Rainbow street) , with many parties and events happening regularly nearby. You can learn the Arabic language, how to cook Jordanian food, and we can show you around the country! In your free time you are welcome to explore the city or travel throughout our beautiful country.
The working day starts around 11am with a short meeting to plan the day ahead. Beside preparing the discussion, there are lots of different tasks to be done. On the day of the event, there is a great deal of cooking and cleaning, but also social skills are needed during the debates. Gardening and general maintenance make part of our week, as does working on our laptops - it is recommended to bring your own with you. You will need it for research for new topics for upcoming events, establish new documents for future volunteers (manuals) or social media. There is always something to do and initiatives are always welcome! You will spend a lot of time here so commitment for the project is crucial, but in your free time we are happy to help you arrange trips to explore beautiful Jordan.
Comfortable and happy environment will be provided for our volunteers. Depending on how many people there are, you will be sharing your room with someone or two people. Next to the sleeping house, there is the space where the events take place and where we work or hangout on rainy days (which are few). Apart from accommodation, food will also be available but we consider every one old enough to be able to cook for themselves if we are not doing it together. Our home is cozy and very welcoming to all different kinds of people. We are located in central Amman, next to Rainbow Street with its nice cafes and in 5 minutes you reach Downtown, where you can find a lot of cheap restaurants and almost anything your heart desires.
1. We are open minded people always ready for having fun.
2. Last minute requests are very welcome.
4. We like to have a chat before people come to us.
