I need help in garden, house repairs, painting and building new path of wood for the rainy season.
Can offer a bed in dorm or tent, anything you feel comfortable and lot more to offer but depends on your work.

quick update:
We have just opened our guesthouse in the beginning of December 2018.
The house construction is mainly over, but, there is still bits and pieces we need help with.
We mainly need people that are happy to give anything a go. Preferably individual people, and no couples.

Hello!
We are Steve, Amanda and little Finja.
Just signed a 10 year lease for a huge land with guest house near the center of Kampot.
We got 7 existing bedrooms for you to stay in. our aim is to open in October 2018. Until then there is loooots to do.
We are looking for people that wanna enjoy free accommodation, a satisfying breakfast and either lunch or dinner. Here we become like a big family and have lots of fun. We are looking for willing people with the power and energy to help us set up this amazing space as a future guest house. So preferably we would like to host people with labour/building and maintenance experience as well as artists/painters, gardeners, carpenters, bricklayers, plumbers and also a person or two interested in babysitting for our 2 year old daughter. Generally anybody that feels keen to set up a new place with fresh and new ideas are welcome.

Kampot is, from my opinion, one of Cambodias best towns with people from all over the world and also restaurants from any country you want. Life here is amazing and cheap and there are sooo many things to do that you won't get bored. Also nightlife is very good when u know where to go.

I was in Playground for almost 3 weeks. Mo is a very kind person who really likes to communicate. I stayed here for 2 weeks and had a super pleasant stay. Mo is a very relaxed person and easy to talk to. I could bring in my own ideas and paint a wall how I wanted it. If you're looking for a place to volunteer in Cambodia I can really recommend it!

I had an awesome time working there with Mo at The Playground. He made me and the other workawayers feel welcome and, while he might not be around the entire time, he'd always make sure we had everything we needed and he took us out many times to know Kampot and visit some restaurants and bars. I'd do it again.

Ez, Isi Or Isabel, is really hard working who plans and executes all her tasks accordingly. You don't have to tell her what to do if she see something off then she does it immediately, it's more like you have to tell her to stop working. Make sure you don't piss her off. 😜

Amanda hat fast alle Sachen im Haus selber genäht, leckere… read more Rezepte für das Frühstück erarbeitet und mit viel Liebe das ganze Haus dekoriert. Steve ist ein Organisationstalent und Kopf von allem und sehr handwerklich begabt. Das Haus ist nicht nur ein Hostel oder Homestay es hat ein zweites Ebene und eine Seele.
Die beiden haben sich was im Leben getraut, was ich sehr bewundere.Ich wünsche denen von ganzem Herzen, nur das beste in der Beziehung und geschäftlich.Nicht zu viel Stress und wenig Arbeit.Das Haus sieht von einem Tag auf den anderen besser aus, sie versuchen so viel umzusetzen.Ich bin so stolz die Möglichkeit zu haben die Veränderungen zu sehen und ein Teil davon für die paar Wochen zu sein.Trotz der viel Arbeit kümmern Sie sich sehr nicht nur um ihre Gäste aber auch um einen Volontäre.

Homestay stał się moim drugim domem. Amanda, Steve i Finja są wspaniałą i kochającą się rodziną. Zostałam przez nich przyjęta i traktowana jako pełnoprawny członek rodziny, dlatego też zostałam dłużej.Oni każdego dnia pracują bardzo ciężko na swoje marzenia. Amanda uszyła własnoręcznie prawie wszystkie rzeczy, które są w tym domu, jest pomysłodawcą tych wszystkich przepysznych przepisów zwłaszcza śniadań w które wkłada całe swoje serce. Cały dom jest urządzony z niezwykłym smakiem, to nie tylko hostel, ale dom z duszą .Steve to głowa całego projektu, utalentowany organizator, potrafiący naprawić i załatwić wszystko.Tych dwoje ludzi odważyło się na coś w życiu, za co bardzo ich podziwiam i cenię.Z całego serca życzę im wszystkim dobrego na wszystkich płaszczyznach zarówno rodzinnych jak i w biznesowych, mało stresu i pracy.Dzięki pełnemu zaangażowaniu i poświęceniu ich dom z dnia na dzień wygląda lepiej.Jestem pełna podziwu, jak wiele starają się zrealizować i wprowadzić w życie i bardzo dumna z tego, że miałam okazję przez kilka tygodni być częścią tego planu. Homestay is now my second home. Amanda, Steve and Finja are a wonderful and loving family. I was welcomed and treated like a family member right from the start. That's why I stayed longer than planned. They two work so hard on their dream every day. Amanda sewed almost everything in the house, prepared delicious breakfast recipes and decorated the whole house with love. Steve is a talented organizer and head of everything and very skilled. The house is not just a hostel or homestay it has a second level and a soul.
The two have dared something in life, which I admire very much. I wish them wholeheartedly, just the best in the relationship and on business. Not too much stress and little work. The house looks better from one day to the other, I am so proud to have the opportunity to see the changes and be a part of them for the few weeks. Despite all the work, you are very concerned not only with your guests but also with a volunteer.
They are happy about everyone who wants to realize their dreams.
So I would like to thank you again.
