Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Here is an opportunity to get more time in the saddle and also learn a little Swedish and improve your English (since one of us is originally English). We love to talk about horses and ways of training and you can always learn something new.

Help
We are looking for volunteers that have horse riding experience and can stay for at least two months from the beginning of April. (One month can also work but it has to fit with our planning).
My name is Camilla, and you will also meet my husband Rob (Englishman) and my daughter Olivia (11 yo in 2024). My father also lives at the farm.
We have three Fjord horses, three Arabian horses, one Welsh Partbred pony and three "North Swedes" who needs to be worked/trained and kept fit for the summer in different ways depending on their age and education level. In the summer you will ride horses, either with me, alone or go with us on tour rides.
We handle the horses in a natural horsemanship style.
We also have 18 sheep and some chickens which need to be fed and taken care of.
In the spring and summer we also need volunteers to help out with things like mucking, fencing, clearing pastures, and everything that could come up on a farm.
If you are vegetarian you are welcome, we can work our way out with cooking.
Vegans will have to cook for themselves if they want to come to us. We can discuss how we will work that out.
You will eat lunch with us and breakfast and dinner by yourself in your own space.
To the village where there is a small store it is 5 km, and to the nearest small town it's 30 km.Languages

Mostly I worked with Camilla or alone. I did fixing fences, cleaning leather, feeding the chickens every morning and bringing them in the stable in the late afternoon and preparing horses for tour rides. I enjoyed the tour rides I rode along. The… read more
The work was focused on the horse training, so I spent many hours with riding horses in the forest.
Other work I did was checking and fixing fences with Camilla, and the dogs as company, cutting bushes, cleaning bridles and windows and helping with the sheep… read more
