Description
Hello everyone,
we're looking for about 6 to 8 enthusiastic Workawayers to help us with our yearly 'let's get our act together with our big house and garden project'! We will work from July 18th until July 29th. Would you like to be part of this group?
As a young family we're very busy during the school year with our children and our work. As a result, by the summertime our big farmhouse and garden are screaming for attention! This summer we would love to invite a small group of like minded young people to come help us around the house and in the garden. Plenty to do! In your free time you will be able to enjoy each other's company and the peace and tranquility of the beautiful countryside surrounding our house.
Here's the work we're going to be tackling this summer:
- LOTS of garden work, especially weeding! There's light garden work and heavier garden work. For the tough ones amongst you: there's some heavier work lifting stones, as we're going to renovate our driveway.
- Cleaning work: our house is BIG and we're just finishing some construction work. In other words: dust everywhere! The whole house needs a very good clean.
- Painting: plenty to do for those who like painting. There's a few walls to paint, a big barn door, some furniture, etc.
- Lots more little jobs in and around the house.
As we're looking for about 6 to 8 people, please let us know which activities you would prefer to do.
This is what we have in mind for you:
- we have 2 big bedrooms (40 m2!) that have their own bathroom. We're hoping to welcome 3 or 4 girls and 3 or 4 boys. So you will share a big bedroom bedroom with a few others.
- as a group you will be given your own kitchen to use. This is your communal space that you can use anytime you want.
- we will make sure there's plenty to eat all day long for you and are happy to adjust to your dietary wishes!
- start date July 18th, end date July 29th.

Linde and her family welcomed me with open arms from the very beginning and I felt really welcome. The house is really big, so each Workawayer (there were several others there besides me) had enough privacy and so did the family.… read more
