Description
We are a friendly Chilean/French family, German, Stephanie and Noah.
Our Ecolodge is located at Cardonal, 6 km south Curanipe. Half hostal half backpackers ecologic conscious format.
Runs on dry toillets, solar energy, and solar heated water. We tried to be eco constructors, working with palets, and recycled materials.
We are now finishing a house for us to leave the Ecolodge only for guests.
We need help to run the Lodge, cleaning, making beds, helping with reservations, compost maintenance, and basic construction tasks.
German love's surfing/snowboarding and he knows very well the area and their people.
We offer accomodation for some hours working, you have free time to go surfing or touristing, and we will do everything to help you to discover the area.
The Ecolodge is at 200 meters from shore and huge and almost lonely beach.
This area it’s great for surf.
We are at 1km from the Chovellen River, where you can do kayak, windsurf, stand up paddle, or just relax !
You can visit and buy organic vegetables in our neighbor's garden.

Christian is a very calm human, friendly and clear person. Supported us in many tasks. Gardening, organizing, composting etc. Over all a good volunteer to have arround. We recommend him as volunteer.

Eva is a great person and worker. She helped out in maintenance of our ecolodge and worked skills on ceramic floor construction for 3 weeks. Shared time with our 4 year old son. Excellent workaway. Would recommend her for any workaway host. Thanks eva !

It was our first experience with workaway and we spent a great time. The place is nice and quiet. German and Stéphanie are friendly and we felt at home since the first day. Noah is lovely and gourmand (miam miam, miam miam! ) ;)

It was my first experience with workaway, and it was very good ! Stéphanie, German and their lovely son made me feel at home. The work isn't very tough, and the environment, just 5 min walking from the beach, is incredible ! I recommend this place !
