    Description

We invite people who are freedom loving, yet well balanced and interested in a natural lifestyle. Since 2009 a small group of allies have been living in the small mountain village of Novogorci. At the present time, three of our houses are constantly habitable and the presence of more people would bring benefits to all involved. The external conditions are present - clean air, water and soils, food from the garden, a material base (in process), clarity on how to cultivate our environment and hospitable hosts and associates. Our daily life is shared with our three loyal cats - friends.
We strive for a good balance between material life and spiritual practice.

We invite two to four volunteers, middle or longterm, to live with us, help, learn and share. You will acquire various skills on how to design and build your own space of love and abundance. Volunteers will have time for themselves, as well as opportunity to travel round beautiful Bulgaria. If you are people who consider a life in a community, it would be an experience with a great value.
One of our "volunteers" fell in love with the hacienda and stayed with us for about 4 years, cotributing notably for the ennobling of the space.
The neighborhood is relatively secluded, with alternating deciduous forests, pastures and abandoned houses. The location of our ancestral mansion could be likened to a cabin in a semi-mountainous area. The altitude is 500 m, on the south slope, behind us is 690 m and ahead of us is 840 m. Asphalt is 5 km away, the nearest city is Zlatarica (25 km), and Veliko Tarnovo is 50 km away.

Our proposal includes food (we decide who will be chef for the day), accommodation and a material base - an internal bath, fast internet access, and necessary tools, etc. The hosts are not smokers, but do not mind smoking. We feed on live food from our gardens and the surroundings, buy what we need, use clean spring water and communicate from the heart.
You're most welcome to contact us!

Momchil is good with Permaculture, with seven years of study and practice. You will learn many methods to improve soils, establish a food forest, create a water system, building with natural materials and life in a community. He is also an experienced tour guide in Bulgaria and can supply you with great ideas where to go and what to do. Momchil is connected with Buddhism.
Nina is a vegeterian who adores connecting with other human beings through the kitchen. Preparing and sharing healthy food is one of the best shortcuts to give love, care and exchange energy with the others. She is also dedicated to the idea of harmonic cooperation between the Human, Animal, Plant and Mineral Kingdoms. Nina is ex-film maker orientated toward "how to resolve each case" in the context of different cultures and mindsets.

Тhrough the years Momchil relied on the exceptional support and dedication of his ex-partner Vani with whom they accepted many volunteers and developed the Mansion. Nowadays she continues living here with her present partner contributing a lot with her deep conection to the space and knowledge about wild herbs, natural medicines and good food.

    What else ...

Only 3km away from us is the Moon Valley, which is a place of power. There is a river there, where you can swim or sunbath on the warm flat stones.
Not far away is Veliko Tarnovo, the medieval capital of Bulgaria. This is where our kings lived in the past and its a wonderful place.
Nature around Novogorci is actually at the foothills of the Balkan Mountains. So, there are forests, rivers, waterfalls and ecopaths. The Black Sea is a few hours away by car or a train. There are still secluded beaches and places with springing hot mineral water where you can stretch your tent and don't have to pay anything.
