  We are a family of three, our house is in a residential area of Madrid, it is large, beautiful, bright, with a garden, swimming pool and close to the airport. I would like my children: 12-year-old Julia and 9-year-old Samuel to meet people of different nationalities and cultures while learning and practicing English.
  
  I would like to find a friendly native English speaking woman to spend time with and help me with teaching English and practicing the language with my two children and myself.

  WHAT DO WE OFFER
  - Opportunity to get Spanish language exposure with a native family. Although children are to be addressed in English during agreed times, you will also have the opportunity to practice your Spanish and we will be supporting you to improve your fluency at all times (experience in language teaching).
  - Own bedroom and bathroom.
  - All food at home and accommodation expenses included.
  - Washing machine and iron available for your own laundry
  
  - Comfortable and spacious house, with a large park in front of the house, safe residential area..
  - Public transport connections to the centre of Madrid (30 min by tube). Tube station about 12 min walk from home.
  - 10 minutes driving distance to the airport (Depending on flight time, we would attempt to pick you up from the airport).

  Requirements
  Age: 18 +
  Passport and European Medical Health card
  Basic Spanish knowledge, able to communicate
  Native English speaker, British, American, Australian, etc.
  Interest to improve communication skills in Spanish
  Any personal references.
  
  Relevant:
  Experience with children (school activities, babysitting, looking after relatives).
  Any teaching experience.
  Initiative to organise activities and keep up children interest while having fun.
  Able to gain cooperation and set rules for kids when running activities .
  
  Likes swimming, bike riding, etc.
  Able to cope with hot temperatures and relentless sunny weather!!
  Also enjoys some independency and exploring new places/customs.
  
  RESPONSIBILITIES:
  - Use every opportunity to teach children new vocabulary/sentences and encourage then to use it at every opportunity and in daily life situations.
  
  IMPORTANT RULE: ALWAYS SPEAK TO GIRLS IN ENGLISH DURING AGREED TIMES.
  - No major household nor cleaning responsibilities, other than keeping own bedroom and bathroom tidy
  - Ensuring no unauthorised access to the flat is given to anybody else.
  
  TIMETABLE PROPOSAL
  9:00 to 11.00 am (2 hours) – “Sitting-down” English activities:revising some English Grammar and exercises from school books, reading aloud, story telling and asking questions, vocabulary games, describing things, etc.
  
  11.00 to 12.00 – Any activity with the children that contributes to practice English while having fun: visit to the supermarket to revise vocabulary, bike riding and games at the park, visit to the local library, cooking or baking cakes, etc.
  
  12.00 – 14.00 Looking after the children while having a swim before lunch games at the swimming pool etc..
  
  From 14.00 onwards – Free time to do own activities, relax, sightseeing,
  
  Saturday and Sunday: no arranged activities nor looking after children required, though welcome to participate in any activity done by the family.
