My small farm is located in Port Alberni. The farm is on the bank of the Somass River. Across the river is a very large park, it is a beautiful tranquil place.I have a flock of 20 sheep and lambs in the spring. I also raise organic produce and maintain large gardens. I have been farming here for the past 25 years. The farm also has 2 dogs, 2 cats,2 parrots, ducks, chickens and a llama.

If you want to experience sheep husbandry and the daily care of sheep and everyday life on an farm this is a great place. The lambs are usually born in February. You will gain a lot of knowledge on a working farm. I also raise a lot of organic produce.

My farm is about a 10 minute drive from town. There is only bus service part of the way out here. I do provide bicycles for anyone that wants to use them. There are a lot of outdoor activities in this area. Hiking, kayaking, bicycling, with the West Coast Trail,Pacific Rim National Park, Tofino & Ucluelet, only an hour and half drive away. g is I enjoy workers who can follow directions, be self motivated and can work independently. I am very flexible with schedules so that you can explore Port Alberni, Tofino, Ucluelet and the West Coast. I am on a river so swimming and tubing in the summer is a must. Victoria is only a few hours drive.
