    My name is Aga i started to build a ecological hostel but needed to move, luckly i managed to take the project with me to a new location so now we are located in a different spot, but with the same ideas, on a friend's land.

    The basics are covered: hammock or tent to sleep,
    You get 2 meals a day for your work for around 4-5 hours a day
    (means breakfast and lunch)
    You want to have dinner, you have to work more or you buy your own food.
    Compost toilet, bath in the Creek with our lovely fish or in our new made shower ^^
    ★breakfast 6:45-7:45
    ★lunch 12:00-13:00
    ★dinner around 18:00-19:00

    Ongoing projects;
    Planting food/food forest
    Planting flowers for our bees
    Building; dormitories and a language school
    We are also looking for people that want to stay long-term (1month and longer)

    We (means; 30+chickens,6dogs,4ducks,2horses,1cat, 2humans and mother nature) share food, water and space, so you must love animals, not just tolerate them. As the dogs are always there, When you sleep, walk, run, poop and eat.. Especially when you eat ^, ^

    We don't use chemicals as we share the water, no one wants to drink your shampoo or soap.. Especially the fish =)
    So there are many alternative
    Some of them I wrote below otherwise Google can sirve you for more information.

    The basic rules are simple;
    -You use something, take care of it!
    (means; clean the tent, dishes and the area after you leave)
    -you take a tool, bring it back where it belongs
    -you start a task, finish it if not today, tomorrow
    -do your dishes, dishwasher is broke
    -you see garbage, pick it up
    -recycling recycling recycling
    -you go shopping take a bag, don't bring a new plastic bag with you
    -don't kill a spider because you are afraid, fear is not an excuse to kill
    -don't waste food, water or energy
    And respect mother nature and all her children as you are not her only child.

    Basic duties ;
    Helping with the animals
    Helping cleaning the area

    As some of the volunteers have not quite understood the 'jungle' part I will explain a but more.
    Jungle/nature means bugs, a lot of bugs..
    As we are trying to rase bees we do not tolerate any ANY kind of chemicals
    Coconut oil or tea tree oil are good repellants too. You don't like the smell of the oils Google other eco options.
    Also are long sleeves a good protection.
    So flip flops are good on the beach, here you might need something more covering.
    Long pans, long sleeves, good shoes, something to cover your head.. This is the best outfit to work.

    Ps. When I send you the directions please read them. Its all written down how to get there. From where to where, where to get out and how far to walk.
    You choose if you take the bus, car, ride, horse, Bike or walk.. ^, ^

    What else ...

    As it is suppose to be a ecological place where the nature plays a big part, surtain things are not welcome; cosmetics / shampoo or others - we don't want the drinking water to be contaminated, as it is also the living environment of the fish and other animals. But don't worry, nature has some products for you. A plant (as you may guess) is a natural amazing shampoo and soap. If there should be non because of the season, standard soap is welcome (less perfumed possible). You will see that in our creek , we have more than just great clean water, we also have a fish spa so be kind to them and do not bring any chemicals into ther living space.
    If you need cream or lotions, there is coconut oil, a natural way to put some moisture and vitamins or our skin. The creams and lotions contain chemicals and can not really last in high temperatures. You can buy som e on the way or at you lace, we are doing coco oil our selfs.
    Try to not use sprays or perfume, we will try to attract bees for the future honey. We are making a natural,basted on herbs, anti repellant. You can also get some on your way.
    You need to wash your cloths? Just check natures 'washing nuts'.
    ..... In other words all natural...

    Depending on your 'will' of learning you can get all sorts of experience and knowledge.
    You either will learn that you can not live without luxury and chemicals
    Such as electricity, internet, hot shower, pillow, all sorts of poisoning chemicals..
    Or you will learn the opposite and this way you might save the environment.
