I'm Chuck, a MOFGA- certified organic farmer in a beautiful part of Maine. I live in the small town of Lamoine. I grow organic vegetables on 2 acres of my farm, including 5 greenhouses.
I also raise chickens. On saturdays I'm selling my veggies at the Ellsworths Farmers market and I also sell from the farm.
I have two children in their late twenties, my daughter goes to university in Lebanon and and my son has his own business here on my property. I aways need some help around the farm with planting, weeding and harvesting tomatoes, sungolds, squash, zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower, leek, spinach, arugula and more. Greenhouse work is aways fun. There may be some building projects since I might get a new greenhouse. The farm house is a classic Maine wooden home so there's always things to repair. Some light housework would be amazing too.
Come and explore Lamoine and the Acadia National Park, which is only a 15 minutes drive away.
There's seasonal help needed, march through october, so please no requests for the colder months since there's just nothing to do here.
