    Description

Hi I'm George and this campground it's my life dream project. In 2017 I managed to buy a nice meadow on a valley at the border of two mountain ranges in the northern Carpathians.
The campground is open since 1st of June 2018, in this time we managed to build a tavern where our guests can chill, drink a coffee/beer, or read a book on a cold winter day next to the fireplace. We have an interior kitchen and four rooms +1 caravan for volunteers.
On the Campground, we have 4 dome tents and 7 wooden houses. During Summer we also have around 5-10 Canvas Tents and pitches for tents and caravans.
Also, we have a kitchen, a Grill zone and some nice areas where our guests can take their meals or just to hang around.
We are pet friendly, currently, we have 5 dogs and 2 cats, they bring only joy in our camping.
Very important for your experience is also the fact that we are a host that can offer a wage during the summer season or for large projects and we have good facilities for your accommodation during your stay with us.

For the moment we are looking to get some help to renovate some units like a Tea House, our workshop, some adjustments in our kitchen and stuff like this. So if you have some skills in joinery and you want to give us a hand give us a sign.

    See you!

After the hot season is over, our campgroung becomes more quiet. During the cold seasons we focus more on developing projects like: building new places for people to camp, upgrading our heating system, and keeping the campsite alive.
We have visitors and guests mostly during weekends when we usually host events like: exploring the mountains, gatherings for opening your mind and heart, or themed events.
We are looking for beautiful spirits that can help us with the following:

Housekeeping - which consists of taking care of the administrative part of our camping a.k.a. the house we live in. The housekeeper also cooks meals for him and the other volunteers that are present and, help with the laundry that needs to be cleaned and folded. The laundry mostly consist of the fresh bedding that we put in the Domes/Wooden Houses for our guests. If you have great cooking skills, and like helping our around the house, it's the right job for you.
Another important area we need to cover its general maintenance of our campsite. Muscles needed for this job. Keep the campsite clean, mow the lawn, cutting and caring-firewood, prepare wood for the campfire, and help around with developing new projects. If you like being active this might be what you are looking for.
Last but not least we also need a trustworthy person for cleaning the tents and preparing them for our guests when they arrive. We value a lot the experience that each guests have so we like the tents to be nicely cleaned.
During the week, when the campsite is quiet you can help around the other members with different projects they are working on or you can come up with your own project if you think it can help upgrade the experience both the volunteers and guests have when coming here.
And don't forget that the most important thing we aim for is for you to enjoy what you do in whatever project you choose to involve.

    Accommodation

Our staff is very important for us, therefore we try to create the best environment for them. Last year we managed to upgrade our house to accommodate more volunteers. You will sleep in a heated room, on comfy mattresses. Depending on how many volunteers are in our campsite, you may also sleep in the same room ( there is a rooms with a double bed and a single one, we have a room with a single bed and 2 RV's) If you are a couple you can choose to sleep in an RV. We also build a bathroom for our staff. Food will be provided, and in the kitchen, you can cook.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

The campsite is situated in the mountains, therefore there are a lot of hiking trails around the campground. Romania it's well known for its fauna, so if you have a camera, this place will be your little heaven.
Close to the campsite, it's an important historical place, a part of the frontline in the second world war, where you can still find bunkers, trenches, and abandoned weapon depots.
If you would like to visit the nearby cities, we will help you with logistics.
The campground also offers a great place to relax. We have great games, hammocks, a reading spot and a tavern where you can make new friends.
