Description
Hi! We are a family who live in a semi-detached house in the center of Mataró. From our place in Mataró you can get to Barcelona by train or bus in about 40 min. We have two sons, one is 3 year old and the other one is 1 year old. Both parents work and we have a lot of help from our parents who take care of our children. However, we think it wold be very interesting to host someone who could help us with our children, especially by speaking with them in English.

The city center of Mataró is a nice place to live, it’s quiet and we have a lot of services very close to our place. The beach is also very close. If you want to go to Barcelona you can get there easily. One of the grandparents live in the house next to ours and they are very willing to help (they don’t speak English). In Mataró there are a lot of cultural places to visit, such as Mataró warehouse of Gaudí or some roman ruins. The mum of the kids works as a history of art teacher and she usually comes home quite early in the afternoon. We usually spend some time with friends, having barbecues in our terrace, swimming with our kids in our small swimming pool, visiting some friends at their place, etc.

Help
We are a family who live in a semi-detached house in the center of the city of Mataró, one of the biggest cities near Barcelona (you can get to Barcelona by train or bus in about 40 min). We have two sons, one is 3 year old and the other one is 1 year old. Both parents work in Barcelona and we have a lot of help from our parents who take care of our children. However, we think it would be very interesting to host someone who could help us while speaking with them in English, especially with the 3 year old one. It will be flexible, so maybe it could be nice to pick him up at school, have lunch with him, maybe doing some activities with him in the afternoons, etc.

Accommodation
The room we offer is the one on the top floor of the house and has a toilet for your own use. Next to the room there is a nice terrace where we use to garden some fruits and vegetables. We would like our guest to have lunch with our oldest son and have dinner with the whole family from Monday to Friday. Saturdays and Sundays we’ll have lunch and dinner at home or elsewhere. It would be nice if we all like same food. Food costs are at our expense.
What else ...
The time off of our helpers will be very flexible. Do not hesitate to tell us what you would like because as long as you take some time to speak with our son in English and we spend some good time all together it will be fine for us.
