  We are looking for volunteers for the social media position and general maintenance starting in April!

  Welcome to our surf house. We are located in Tamraght, a village in the Taghazout bay in Agadir - Morocco.
  
  For years we have been running a place that has become a meeting point for new and experienced surfers, as well as people who value contact with the sea and a comfortable home with great energy and delicious food.
  
  Your help as a volunteer would be very welcome. More than chores and to-do's, our workexchange is about time dedicated to keeping our Moroccan family home working efficiently and happily.
  
  We appreciate hearing from everyone who is willing to write to us and apply for volunteer positions. However, it is important to read the profile in full before sending us messages and to follow the instructions below:
  
  * Subject: Write the type of vacancy (YOGA / SOCIAL MEDIA/ GENERAL POSITION) + Period available in the subject line of the message.
  
  * Message: Be succinct, describe your profile, why you want to volunteer with us and what your main skills are for the position.
  
  We'll try to reply to everyone, but sometimes it's difficult because we receive so many messages. Don't be disheartened if we don't reply to your message immediately. It's mostly because the position you ask for is taken at the moment or that you can`t come at the dates you request. But plans can change, people leave earlier with short notice etc. and we will get back to you when we see that your skills are needed.

  - SOCIAL MEDIA: to look after social media, photograph classes and update the website.
  - GENERAL POSITION: Position for general chores at our surf camp, such as organisation, welcoming guests, looking after the surf shop and equipment
  
  All positions have general tasks such as keeping the house in a good vibe, helping with check in and check out and other simple tasks. Read more on HELP before applying.

  Working close with the team, you get the chance to experience Moroccan culture through living in a small Moroccan beach town, working closely with a Moroccan family and eating Moroccan cuisine everyday at the hostel!

  - YOGA: for Certified yoga teacher
  - SOCIAL MEDIA: to look after social media, photograph classes and update the website.
  - GENERAL POSITION: Position for general chores at our surf camp, such as organisation, welcoming guests, looking after the surf shop and equipment

  If you are applying for the Yoga Teaching Position, you must be certified.
  • You will usually teach once a day.
  • For each guest that takes a class, you will be PAID €5. The number of guests who take a class vary according to season.
  
  - SOCIAL MEDIA
  If you apply for the position to manage our social media and Instagram send us a message with your Instagram name, link to your portfolio or a folder on google drive with your best pictures and if you have, edited videos. We're interested in your level of commitment to the craft.
  
  We´re looking for one person to manage social media, take photos and make videos for Instagram. Position responsibilities are a mix of photography, videography and hosting duties, including, but not limited to:
  
  • Managing our Instagram, posting 3-4 posts a week, pictures, carousels reels or videos, content which you decide on. In between 2-5 of daily stories from things going on around the house, beach, town, dinners, excursions etc.
  • Social media updates, photography first and foremost and then some video edits if you know how to or want to learn more about it.
  
  - GENERAL POSITION and ALL POSITIONS
  • Greeting/socializing with guests
  • Doing some of the booking planning, do some check-ins / check-outs. These tasks are shared with employees and other workawayers.
  • Helping to keep the hostel clean and organized. Nothing major mainly keeping an eye out so things are tidy. Also a shared responsibility for all of the crew.
  
  We all help out in the different areas so the workload is always shared.

  - A great energy in a Moroccan Surf House
  - Accommodation in shared three bed room with other volunteers (2 - 3 per time)
  - Daily breakfast, Moroccan mint tea and coffee throughout the day
  
  Other benefits:
  
  1) 5 hours per day, with 2 days off per week. In this case, accommodation and breakfast are included. Surf equipment can be rented (not included)
  
  2) 5 hours per day, with 1 day off per week. Accommodation, breakfast, dinner and surf equipment are included.
