    Description

With close proximity to Brisbane's CBD and airport, this retreatis located in an outstanding rainforest setting. Surrounded by National Park State Forest and situated by a clear mountain stream with stunning waterfalls, natural swimming pools and spa's, it is truly a magical place for your visit. Our family have been successfully operating small events over the past 12 years, and also have set up a Not For Profit foundation to 'care for family carers' that require respite.

Since the retreat is quite isolated, time off would involve soaking in the tranquility and peacefulness of the location, enjoying the birdlife, rockhopping, walking and swimming in the nearby creek and waterfalls.
Cedar Creek is situated near Samford Valley, a quaint village which offers many cafes and eating places. There is a museum, and nearby a couple of wineries.
Transport is limited, however we would offer to drive guests to the nearest train station if they wanted to go into Brisbane city.

We are very interested in other cultures, and being Australian born and bred, travelers would learn from us about Australian culture and life. Since we are in the forest area, there is much to learn environmentally about the flora and fauna.
