    Description

We are an ecovillage project founded by a group of 6 people in the Langhe hills, Unesco heritage, Piedmont, north west of Italy. we are 4 families, so our 6 kids live with us (some of them are homeschoolers, some others go to the school in the closest village) and usually 2/3 volunteers live with us from different networks.

We have restored an abandoned farmhouse and another house, the agricoltural house, with bioarchitecture techniques and we have an agricoltural byodinamic project of 8 ha: a garden, cereals, an orchard and a wooden forest.
We organise small events or courses to spread the knowledge on how to become a small scale byodinamic farmer, on how to build a raw clay oven and on how to cook local and traditional products, we also organize cultural events!
We deliver our products in the towns close to us: so one activity of the volunteers is also helping to prepare flour/pasta/beans packages.

we love animals: we have cats, dogs, 2 sheep and some hens.
we live close to two villages (Cherasco and La Morra) and the two houses are connected with a trail in the woods.
Moreover some other people are coming soon to live with us and in the village we are trying to develop a tailoring lab and a yoga room.

You have to know that some of us are working also outside (as teachers, employees in a big association - Slow Food- and in other jobs).
