Description
We are situated on an amazing property overlooking the Garden Route Lakes, the Indian Ocean and also the majestic Outeniqua Mountains. We have been in business for 15 years and provide a unique Backpacker environment for local and international travellers. Volunteers love it here and I think you can see that by the feedback we have had so far. Lots of opportunities to do all local activities and enjoy pristine nature in your off time. Please only apply if you can stay for 1 month minimum.

They could experience local cultures and food! Our beaches stretch for miles and we have some good surf spots in the area and free boards to use for our volunteers. Do some great hiking in the area as well as horse riding, canoeing and paragliding! They can learn about the garden and vegetables. They can socialize with guests and other volunteers practice English and meet new people!

We need help with running an amazing hostel situated in Wilderness, Garden Route, South Africa. We need extra help with checking in guests, recommending activities and cleaning when needed. We also host parties and lots of music events so we would need help with that too!

This was our first workaway experience and it was amazing!
We stayed here for 5 weeks but wish we could stay longer. Wilderness is definitely the most beautiful town along the Garden Route. The work is nice, you meet a lot of people and Riaan, Theo and Hanno are great! Definitely will come back to this place one day!

The best hostel in South Africa!
Riaan, Theo and Hanno are superlative guys and their friends are always friendly and easygoing.

I was volunteering at the Farm for 5-6 weeks from mid April onwards and had a great time with a great team. Running the reception was super easy and relaxed. The place itself lies on top of a hill, 3.5 km from the village with an amazing view. Thanks for all the support, guys. Hope you're doing well.

Wow! What an amazing place. This was my first workaway experience and it was an excellent one for sure. It was interesting working in a hostel, learning the basics and meeting so many new people. The owners and manager were all very welcoming and accommodating.

This is a great place for a work away experience. I stayed for 3 weeks, but if I had more time I would have stayed much longer. The regular staff are all very friendly and have no problem helping you arrange activities during your free time. I'd definitely volunteer at the farm again or even just return as a guest.

Lizzie was a great person to have here, she was always smiling and happy.
She was absolutely amazing with our guests and and always made sure that they received the best service, weather she was helping in reception checking in guests or working behind the bar. We would have her volunteer here any time again.

Helen was incredible with the guests. From checking them in at the Reception to serving them drinks at the Bar and keeping them entertained with great travel stories was all really good.
She was very helpful with booking activities for guests and would go out of her way to make sure the guests are comfortable.
