Description
We are an independent surf lodge in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa! We focus on surf package for international guests.

You will benefit by being taught how to surf. We will provide you with surf equipment to use and one of us (all qualified surf instructors) will teach and coach you (by joining in on lessons). Surfing in Jbay is amazing, you will learn lots about the ocean, its beaches and the surfing community. You will learn to be part of a nice local team that hosts some international guests. All the skills involved in running a lodge.

Sitting in the store waiting for customers (you are welcome to work/watch during quiet hours)
Communicating any faults and damages
First Aid certified would be preferred
The Surf shop will have a cafe inside, with an espresso machine inside which I would train you to use
Regarding work hours expected, we are some days busier than others. So 6 hours in expected on a busy day. However there are days were you will only need to work 2 hours. Full days off is worked out as follows, every 7 days worked, 1 day will be given free. So you are either able to take off all your days at once, or on every 7th day.
Qualification based options (will be paid for):
Surf Instructor: ISA required
Selling & planning lessons with guests
Recording lessons and taking payments (when necessary)
Keeping surf room clean and presentable
Being responsible with equipment
Keeping inventory of surf equipment
Start lesson on time- being punctual
Making sure they have fun in the sun
Yoga: Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) credential
Selling & planning lessons with guests
Recording lessons and taking payments (when necessary)

Photographer: Sport photography/interior & exterior photography
Own camera equipment
Being available for surf lessons to capture film/photos
Editing photos to sell to guests
