    Description

    Hello traveller!

Nice to see that you'll be coming to this island full of beauty.

There's lots of work to be done. You'll be away from the internet and technology and be completely in nature. We work here mostly EARLY (6am) in the mornings and sometimes camp and SLEEP OVER IN THE BUSH, then go to the beach and back home. You should not have too many problems with that. If you do, tell us and we'll see what could work.

Coming here means participating in a lot of different projects, while making new friends, sharing with locals and helping the kids. It also means challenging yourself in new and rewarding ways.

There's also a project in Toco where we might work now and then. It is a development project, trying to help kids through sports. Still, biggest part of the time, we will be spending time in the bush.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Trinidad has a very special culture. It's a combination of multiple entities that made a special mix. You'll see this on the streets, different areas, food you might have seen in other continents.
You can go surfing, scuba diving, mountain biking, leatherback turtle watching etc.

    Help

Most of all you should be social and open to really experience this culture, way of living and get to know people.
What we certainly can use are: people willing to work, share, learn and teach. People that can work with their hands (gardening, maintenance in the yard and house), people that know about management, administration and have a focus on sports. People that like working in group, also having individual activities some times, and have no problem taking orders about the work to do, but still can add value and think for yourself too.

    More specific skills:
    - SEO, website and design knowledge
    - Vocation to interact and helping with kids of all ages
    - Photography
    - Permaculture, environment care and sustainable processes
    - Teaching another languages (Spanish, French, German...)

Sometimes we get up early, sometimes we would party.. Get ready for a lot of variation. When you send us a message, put the words 'early bird' in the title, so we know you read our profile and are prepared to work. And then, just come over, enjoy and contribute to the good vibes!

We also have a Guest House and would require assistance with keeping sports equipment in good order and would require the tourists to assist the Foundation with our After-school and sporting events.

    What else ...

When moving around together, you will have the opportunity to see a lot of places, taste the local food and meet people! If there are special things you wanna see, we can check together how we can make that happen.

Popular attractions are Caroni Bird Sanctuary, Maracas beach, Temple at the sea, leatherback turtle watching and many waterfalls and beaches! Of course, carnival is one of the most busy times of the year.
