  Hello traveller! You made it! What an honour to have you here at my place! Please, see my trees of various fruits like oranges, mandarines, almonds, apples, pears, olives, plums, kaki, peach, medlar and figs and oh, there they are, the 'Boys' my animal companions, two dogs of whom one though he looks like a dog, he must be another being. Oh, you already took notice of the manifold birds flying their way through the fragrant air? Not now in summer, but in autumn to spring they oftenly perform with virtuousity tweeting concerts. Ah, you are right, I completely forgot to introduce myself I was just so excited! I am a 34 year old formerly student at university. To my luck, the Plandemic made me to look for new ways in life and I ended up as an apprentice of agriculture, handycraft, self-sufficiency and in general taking responsibilty for my life, to invest my breaths in the most important discovery that is to be made.
  
  Oh, there is my mother promenating along the roses, affectionately looking fortheir wellbeing, calling me here and there to enlighten me on our rooted fellow creatures, on how to look after them, how to see and sense their desideratums. My father? He is here too, but I just don't acutally know where exactly what he is currently doing. You surely will meet him one day.
  
  It's hot outside isn't it? Let's go into the shady cool interior of our house. Allow me to hang your dusty coat, here have a seat. May I serve you something to drink? You must be thirsty after your long journey, right? What would you choose; we have; home made lemon or orange sirup, home made water kefir or komucha, verveine tea from the garden, coffee or apple juice from the supermarket, or just a glass of water from the borehole? When you are a bit relaxed, would you tell me a bit about your story? Where do you come from, what makes you wandering? What are you looking for?
  
  Ah, that was a very interesting afternoon! Now we are hungry, right? Now, as it is already evening, we would eat some bread and fruits. For those who like, cheese and meat is served too. Usually, we dine around 1300 and have a good Swiss-Italian kitchen with various other influences that reach all around the world- ah, you would like to cook yourself or just to be a guest on the table with a good appetite?

  Good morning! Did you pass a restful night?
  
  It is summer, it is best if one wakes up very early in the morning in order to benefit from the still quite moderate temperatures. Today morning, we are going to see the quinta so that I can show you what works we are currently occupied with; the water system is almost completed but many trees, herbs and flowers still need to be attached to the dropping system. There is still a wastewater system that is to be built. We want to water bamboo or reed with it which makes utterly good construction material. Some beds are already dug, weeded and mulched and thus prepared for the winter. During this summer, there is only little culture being made - on an experimental scale; some tomatoes, melons, cucumbers, salads under the trees. Planting under trees is the traditional portuguese method. We must to get to know the soil. Furthermore are there terraces to be erected, for nature stone walls just look so pretty! A chicken pen awaits its construction - and many many more things; cleaning, walk the dogs, weeding, weeding, weeding and... weeding. Watering, watering and... what was the third one? Ah yes; watering; pruning, transplanting..
  Principally, we apply real traditional Swiss gardening techniques (that means we work organic of course) but are inclined to the idea to imply astronomy, biodynamic and permacultural ideas. This would be a bigger project and also another experiment to set up - but hey, we are on the brim of a new Era!
  
  Ah... It's getting hot, let's go to the nearby lake in Lardosa or into the house and have a refreshing drink. It is almost time for dinner anyways... I hope, you have appetite?

  As I have pointed out, this place is intended to learn how to take responsibilty for oneself. Garden works are the best activity, the best environment to settle down, to concentrate on oneself. We want to learn from each other, we want to develop techniques, to learn the soil, the weather, and how to best accomodate the rooted fellow beings. They will finally allow us to life as independent of a dying society as possible. I am very interested too to develop a hub of culture, of trade, of productivity of any kind.

  There are several markets taking place in Castelo Branco, Fundão, Relva, Idanha-a-Nova, Alpedrinha etc. There is a lake in Lardosa which is very beautiful. Meetings, workshops, courses and parties are taking place too but sometimes can be quite far away. You can also stay here and enjoy the peace.

  Auf jeden Fall sind Haustiere willkommen. Allerdings gilt es anzumerken, dass es insbesondere für Hunde lebensgefährlich sein kann, wenn sie herumstreunen (Giftgas, Sperrfeuer, Schafsjagdt). Os animais domésticos são bem-vindos mas atenção que não va dar um passeio individual, porque risque de ser mesmo fuzilado, enveneado o um agressor das ovelhas. Les animaux doméstiques sont bienvenus. Mais notez que c'est dangereux pour eux de se promener individuellement parce qu'ils risquent d'être poisonnés, tirés ou de chasser des moutons. Definetly, but remember that it is dangerous for your pet (for example dog) to stray around outside of our quinta. Poison, guns, sheep (to chase which is not good).
